Almost finished the second chapter of Dovah Aaz and the fourth episode of Total Drama Carnival. This will be my third SYOC. I hope to continue all of them. I was thinking about updating Friday, but there was no way I was going to update on Friday the 13th. No thank you.
By the way, Friday the 13th... Every sequel/part sucks. The first one was okay, but the rest... NO!
Beware, first Warriors' fanfic I have ever written. Please be kind.
Stoneeye looked up at the moon. Such a night for a kit to be born... A claw-moon. He remembered the stories his mom told him of his birth. It was claw-moon than too. It seemed only by chance his kits would be born on a similar night.
He wished to be beside his mate as she brought them into the world, but it was to dangerous. Not being part of a clan and having to protect himself forced him to work harder. He paced in front of the mouth of the makeshift den as he listened to Raine, his mate, start to give birth.
"Please make them be born safe and sound, Great Starclan," he thought as he started to pace faster.
As the sounds started to calm down, he grew worried. He held his breath, only to sigh when Raine called him in.
He slid through to small opening into the shallow den.
"How are they?" he asked.
The grey queen had her back to her mate, though turned her narrow face towards him. She gave a slight nod.
"They are fine," she responded.
Stoneeye walked around to see four kits nursing. Three of them looked just like their parents. One of them had dark brown fur, looking similar to Stoneeye, while two had grey fur, like Raine. But one of them, the outlier, looked different. Her white fur stood out amongst their tiny bodies.
"They are beautiful," he said. "What shall we call them?"
Stoneeye was hoping for nontraditional clan names. He wished to distance himself from such affairs, and hoped to keep his kits out of it. Raine being a former kittypet turned loner, she could understand the animosity towards the clans.
"Well, what do you think?" asked Raine.
She nuzzled against the brown kit. In response, he slightly jumped on his mom's nose. She gave him a good lick and looked at her mate.
"Brick," said Raine.
She remembered the red stones Twolegs use to call bricks. The small kit reminded her of those.
"Okay... And these two?" asked Stoneeye.
"Fog and Smoke," replied Raine.
And finally, all that was left was the small white molly.
"How about..." started Raine before fading.
"Fawn," suggested Stoneeye.
She was so small and fragile, like a newborn deer. To be named after a fawn seemed only appropriate.
"Alright," Raine simply agreed.
She placed her nose to Fawn's. Fawn reacted by licking her mom's nose, gaining a kiss back.
"Welcome to the world, Fawn," greeted the new mom.
Stoneeye watched over happily for a little bit before he returned to his post outside of the den.
So I wanted to get a new side to everything. This will be about Fawn, a loner kit, and her family. I hope to get some other OC cats for the clans that the kits will be introduced to. Be forewarned their will be deaths next chapter.

Side note: I hope to update my stories, Dovah Aaz and Total Drama Carnival, either tomorrow or Monday. Yesterday was Friday the 13th (bad luck) and I had a math test. No thanks. And today I had work. I work every Saturday, selling my custom wind chimes; hand-made.
