Chapter one: Turned
Hermione's POV
I wondered the forest looking at my feet. I could feel the salty tears rolling down my cheeks as the past two hours flew back into my mine.
'You're so annoying Hermione''No one wants you here just leave'The words of her two best friends stung like she had just been hit by lighting. Her heart had been shattered. The moment we had defeated Voldamort they had turned on me. I was only there for my brains. I sighed.
So, I'm 17, my best friends hate me, my parents are dead and I have no meaning in life. Great. I suddenly look up and notice how deep I really am into the Forbidden Forest. Uh oh. I was surrounded by trees in the darkness. I couldn't see where I had come from and I began to panic. I could feel my heart beat pick up.
Suddenly I heard something snap and my head snapped in the direction but I was to late. For whomever it was had me out in mere seconds.

Edward's POV (four years before he met Bella)
I had been out hunting when I smelt it. I was in middle of a forest in Scotland when the over powering scent of spilt human blood hit me like a bullet. I focused in on the forest and could hear faint voices.
"Just leave here there Septum, the wizards will find her body soon enough. Beside's she's already gone for the dead." I heard whatever they were run far into the forest. I could hear the ragged breathing of a human. I cursed my compassion as I an at full speed toward the girl.
When I stopped I saw something I least expected. I cringed in disgust. There before me lay a young girl no older then 17 maybe. She wore a black tank top and jeans. Her curly brown hair out of place. She had a large cut on her right cheek the was bleeding horribly and may other wounds. She was covered in blood. Beside her was a note.
'Take this girl as a warning.' It said. I wasn't going to let her die but what else did I have? I sighed. As much as I didn't want to do it, I picked up the girl and held her close. And I ran as fast as I could toward our home by the seaside. Carlisle was this girl's only hope.
I got there and lucky for her Carlisle was working at home. Esme rushed to me and took the girl laying her on the couch. Alice and Jasper watched shocked at the blood-covered girl and Emmet and Rosalie hovered watching the girl with a confused look.
"I can't read her." Alice said. We all heard her but were too preoccupied at the moment. Carlisle bit the girl she shivered for a moment but she calmed down looking to fall into a peaceful sleep.
"Esme, I want you to take her to the spare room. She has a long three days ahead of her. Come back down and we can talk." Esme nodded and picked up the girl we had just turned. Alice was in a state of frustration and Jasper tried to calm her as he sat her down on the couch. Emmet and Rosalie soon followed. It was only a matter of seconds before Esme returned and I told them my story.
