25 days of fics! I'm still a day behind, but this is my longest one so far. Let me know what you think! :]

"Nick, wake up." Nick gave nothing but a groan in response to Monroe's demand, refusing to lift his head off of the pillow.

"Not getting up," Nick mumbled into the fabric.

"Nick, come on, you need to see this."

"What time is it?"

"Four twenty-one," Monroe answered after glancing at the clock on the wall.

"Can't it wait until a decent hour?"

"It might be over by then. Come on, Nick, I'm up, getting out of bed isn't going to kill you."

"Yeah, but you don't have work in a few hours." Nick sighed, rolling over onto his back before sitting up and pushing the covers off of his legs. "What do you want to show me?"

A smile broke out on Monroe's face as he grabbed his companion's hand, dragging him out of bed and over to their bedroom window. "It's snowing."

"You dragged me out of bed at four thirty in the morning to show me that it's snowing?"

"Come on, it's the first snow of the season, it's special. We won't get this again for another year." Monroe wrapped his arm around Nick's waist, burying his nose in the other's hair.

"You're so weird, you know that?" Nick smiled, placing his hands on top of Monroe's.

"I just love winter and Christmas, what can I say? We should go outside and actually be a part of it."

"Alright, let's go."

"Really? I didn't think you'd be up for that."

"Anything for you. I'll make hot chocolate and meet you outside in five minutes."

Monroe let go of Nick's waist, turning him around to look into the other's eyes and smile. "Happy holidays, Nick."
