Title: Park
Disclaimer: I don't own CCS.
A/N: If it sucked, don't read it again. Thats all the advice I can give ;)
Story:
Tomoyo sat on the swing, eagerly pushing against the ground as gentle cool breeze blew against her frame, lifting her hair away from her shoulders playfully. The park was deserted, save for the few bird on the trees, feeding their nestlings. She sat silently, listening to the natural call, awakening past memories to life in bittersweet content.
I remember the times we walked together
I remember the streets we took alone
I remember the evening we spent laughing
I remember holding you close
Tomoyo clutched the rusting chains of the swing, pushing hard against the ground until the force lifted her up in the air. She felt her heart swell in excitement as the swing picked up speed, lifting her higher in the air, leaving her locks to catch up.
I remember the sweet taste of your smile
I remember the gentle hug we'd share
I remember the shy glances we'd steal
I remember the beginning.
She watched the ground before her. She watched the sky closer. Feeling a small giggle building up in her chest, she smiled widely as she fell back and flew higher, adjusting her weight to a rhythm she knew as a child.
I'm waiting for the past
To catch up with what we did
I'm waiting for the present
To live it once more
I'm waiting for the future
Because then I'll say it again
The three words
I have spoken often before
Unable to hold the urge any longer, Tomoyo laughed in delight, feeling the rush of the wind against her skin, and the one person within view watching her in amusement.
"If you don't stop looking at me like that Eriol-kun, I'm going to let go." Tomoyo warned playfully, feeling ridiculous and not caring at the same time as another giggle erupted from her lips.
Eriol grinned in amusement, "Then let go." He whispered almost inaudibly, but enough for her to hear him.
Suddenly Tomoyo felt herself being lifted up, until her feet touched the wooden plank of the swing.
"Whoa…" she whispered in awe and delight as she looked back at Eriol and smirked, "Fine then! If I kill myself I will haunt you for life." Tomoyo called out before leaping off the plank just as the swing rose higher.
Eriol smiled, watching the wind twirl around Tomoyo's frame, slowing down her fall into a gentle glide. Tomoyo gasped feeling her heart lurch as Eriol lifted his arms, catching her easily, "Had fun?"
She wasn't surprised she didn't fall. But she was surprised that Eriol didn't set her on the ground. Fighting off the faint blush as his breath caressed her skin, Tomoyo smiled, "You're losing your touch Eriol."
Eriol smirked to himself, noticing Tomoyo's eyes fixed at his, "No sweetheart…" he whispered pulling her closer, before brushing her lips gently against her's, "I'm just getting started."
I remember the flavor of our first kiss
I remember the sensation of your lips
I remember the feeling I couldn't have enough
Even now it's like the first time
I fell in love
