A/N: I am so sorry. I hate songfics. But I wrote one anyway. I am trash. More Angst btw. Also I added a few lyrics of my own, just so it makes more sense.

Blue Lips

Cold. Still. Wet.
He wasn't moving. He wasn't breathing. The water was lapping at his feet on the shore line, as if trying to reclaim him again.

Blue Veins

He was a child. Only a kid. The youngest of them all. The wisest of them all. Why him? He thought he had been quick enough. He thought that he could save him. He couldn't. He failed.

Blue

His skin was pale, his lips turned blue. There was no breath left in his body. He put an ear to his cheats but could no longer did he hear the heart, so much bigger than the body it was housed in, beat.

The Color of Our Planet

He was gone. That was that. No more encore. He was dead and it was his fault. Tears fell, making the drying cloths of his dead friend wet again. How could he have failed him? How could he live like this?

From far far Away

He knew he was dead, he knew what had happened to him. He was looking down on his friends as they cried, blaming themselves for his death. He wanted to comfort them. Let them know it was not their fault. They had fulfilled their destiny and he was no longer needed.

Blue Tears

His face was wet, everyone's was. There was not one dry eye among the small gathering of the funeral. There should have been more, would have been more, but so many of his family had been killed and now there were very few left. Just his sister and his friends left now. At least he would not be alone in the afterlife.

Blue Hearts

His chest hurt. His throat hurt. His eyes hurt. His head hurt. He shouldn't complain really, at least he was still alive. At least he could still feel, still breath, still live. Still feel the heavy weight of guilt on his shoulders.

Blue things they Say

Everyone spoke and everyone had something good to say. In fact not one person in that room had anything bad to say about the white haired monk child who died before his time. When it was his turn to speak he couldn't and simply collapsed on the small stage sobbing

As I Go Go Away

Beyal could feel his hold on the world slipping away as his old body was lowered into the ground. It seemed that his time to pass over would come soon. He knew he did not have long to pass on his message. He lay a hand on Chase's shoulder as he began to fade, hoping but never knowing if his message had been delivered.

Blue the Most Human Color

As Beyal was lowered into the ground Chase felt an odd peace pass through him. He blinked, eyes blurred with tears. Through the blur he thought he saw someone, standing beside him. But when he blinked again there was nothing there. The feeling was still with him though. It seemed that would not go away. He straightened, clearing his eyes and his throat and finally delivered his speech for Beyal as he was buried beneath the ground.

The Most Human Color of All
