HELLO!

I'M SO SORRY! I've haven't been active for a while. I had a period in my life where I had lost all passion for creative writing but it's back and I have lots of new story ideas to post although it might take a while so bear with me. I hope you like my new story, which is loosely inspired by the Studio Ghibli film, 'Whisper of the Heart'. This is a prologue so it's not very long. SORRY BUT ENJOY NONETHELESS! :)

Lucy Heartfilia had never been one to pay attention much to the real world. She always had her nose buried in a book. Lucy often sat in the library for hours on end finishing one book after another and she had almost read the entire library's collection of fantasy novels and fairy tales; she was slowly but attentively reading the last fairy tale collection.

"Huh?! What?" She whispered to herself as her eyes fed on the words which were serving a plot twist. It took a couple of hours to finish but she did it. From reading, Lucy always found herself a lot happier than when she had to return to her life, which was full of chores, studying and everyone talking to her about dating. She never paid attention to dating either because of her book obsession. She went to the front of the book and looked at a name on the dedications page. It read:

'For Natsu'.

Those two words were in a lot of the fairy tales that she had read over the past ten years. She vividly remembers every one of them with the same dedication at the beginning. They were all by the same author- Zeref Dragneel- so it wasn't much of a surprise but why was this 'Natsu' mentioned so much? Zeref Dragneel had always been one of Lucy's favourite authors from the moment she read his first novel, 'Lullaby' and was instantly intrigued by his style of writing and his ideas. It was this book that made Lucy decide on her dream profession.

"Natsu, huh?" Lucy wondered, "What kind of person are you?"
