-----wishful thinking, a clark/chloe pairing
Chloe felt pressured beyond belief. How do you get it through someone's thick head, that you didn't want to do what they were asking. No matter what the reward/cost, Chloe Sullivan absolutely refused to sing, especially by herself for a bunch of lunatics. What could you do though, when the man who was holding you hostage, demanded entertainment of the musical variety. If only "Superman" were there. He would save her. But no, she had thrown a fit and told him to go find a "Lana" (which was kind of mean seeing as he had gotten over Lana a few years ago and had since then been pining after Chloe, herself). That had to have been over an hour ago, and he was still probably off pouting somewhere in a dark corner. I hope he gets stuck there Chloe thought to herself.
Gunman: So, are you gonna get up there and sing or should I just go ahead and have my way with you and kill you.
Chloe: I don't have a choice, do I?
Gunman: Of course you do. I just think one is better than the other.
Chloe resigned herself to the inevitable and tried to think of anything she could sing, that hopefully Clark would hear and understand as a cry for help. Then it hit her. Clark had told her, if she ever needed help and couldn't get the message across, then she should say something about flying.
Chloe singing: Sometimes I have dreams,
I picture myself flying,
Above the clouds high in the sky.
Wondering the world with my magic piano.
Never being scared, but then I realize,
I'm super girl and I'm here to save the world…..
Right at that moment the gunman's partner runs in and tells him that someone is coming.
Gunman: Close the door on the way out. Kill him.
His partner walked toward the door, locked it with a key, and closed the door.
Gunman: Well that was fun, but I think it's time for you and I to have our fun.
With that said, the gunman walked over to me, and tried to cop a feel. Chloe was so surprised that, out of instinct, she slapped his hand away and tried to punch him.
Gunman: Wanna do this the hard way, huh? Well that's fine by me cause that way is the most fun!
He then proceeded to rip her shirt off her and slap her so hard across the face that it brought blood. They heard a thump outside the door and the gunman laughed thinking that his partber had dispatched of their visitor. He roughly pushed Chloe to the floor, clawed her legs apart and climbed in between them. Having apparently decided that he needed to hurt her as much as possible, he pulled a knife out of his pocket and made a thin cut on Chloe's stomach. No longer able to hold it in, Chloe screamed in fear of what was about to happen to her. At that moment the door burst open and in flew Clark. Giving himself only a second to steady, he quickly took in his surroundings and saw their position on the floor. For a moment the look that passed through his eyes could only be described as pure rage. He ran to Chloe's side and pulled the gunman off of her, throwing him against the wall, and effectively knocking him out.
Chloe: Oh, Clark. I was so afraid that you wouldn't get back in time to stop what was happening to me!
Clark: I'll always save you Chloe. You know that. I love you.
Chloe: I love you too, Clark!
Clark quickly picked up the now sobbing Chloe, intent on taking her back to his barn in smallville and soothing all her fears and wiping away every single tear.
