"Coming"
Cyana: Hiya! It's been a while since I came out with something, I know.I promised a continuation of 'Candle in the Wind' in Dilandau's POV.sorry! But this poem circled in my head, and as crappy as it is.I just HAD to type it up.Please Review though!! And check out my other fics too!
**IMPORTANT**- This is a figurative poem about Dilly waiting for the sorceror's to check him.it's about the fear and pain he feels inside.you figure out the rest.. **************************************************************************
I cannot get out. I am tied down, They are coming.
The pack of wolves, Headed by Satan himself, Are coming for me As they always did.
I can smell fluid in the air. The disgusting concoction.
I want to leave, To be free, To be away. I want to fly.
I am a bird, With my wings clipped. Caught in the wolves' den. They are coming.
I can feel their footsteps Shaking, cursing, the ground beneath Time is still, My breath is quick and deep I feel like I'm drowning...
Why must they come?
Why must the prey be the same? After all these years Why are they still hungry?
How much longer Will I be taken? When will this be over?
I want to sleep peacefully Without counting the nights.
And they think I'm the monster?
Take me away, From this hell,
Cold as the moon And at the same time, Hot as the sun
My wrists are bleeding Do I struggle too much? My ankles also bleed
I will die I cannot take this pain Agony, I want to die.
I do not wish to be eaten By a raging pack of wolves I hear them speaking. They are coming.
I can't see anymore The lights blind me. Yet I cannot close myeyes. I am no longer a child.
Fear bids me to be blind, I must not yield.
What do these monsters want with me?
The door opens slowly I hear eager voices Voices of monsters that make me yield To pain To fear.
I must face my pain My worst enemy But I've hidden from it for so long Behind my hands Behind my eyelids I cannot face what I fear
And my enemy
Myself The cause of this pain This fear They want me They want to hurt me Why?
I will not watch
I yield, Closing my eyes.
They have come.
