Five Names
By: Severiona Black
You-Know-Who. Three words. Three silly words made for those too paranoid and too frightened to say his name. But what if someone didn't know who? Would no one tell them? Would they leave them oblivious,
because of their own childish fears?
He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. I never can help wonder, why not? When you say his name, will he swoop through your door and kill you? Will the ground shake? Will the air vibrate? Will the world end?
The Dark Lord. What his death eaters call him. Funny, how the are his loyal servants,
and yet they fear him as much as anyone. What is he the lord of anyway?
Death? The Dark?
Voldemort. I said it. I'm not dead. The ground didn't shake. The air didn't vibrate. The world didn't end. One word. Simple, yet peculiar. It doesn't strike any horrible fear in me. Perhaps I just don't grasp the meaning.
Tom Marvolo Riddle. Vindictive, cruel, lethal, and manipulitive. Dark, Gorgeous, blood boiling,
and possessive. When I say that name I can't breath. When I say that name my blood boils up and bubbles right over my bones. When I say that name I feel terrified.
