I want it all

Some girls have 'it'. Some girls have that golden glow, that dazzling smile, that infectious laugh. Popularity comes easy for them. Boys come running after them.
Layne Abeley does not have it.
From a young age, Layne had dreams of popularity. She was always told of how pretty she was, how smart she was, what a good she was, yet she could never hold a friendship, never be that fun, flawless girl she read in books. She never got boys like those girls in movie.
Starting in Middle School, Layne started to find her flaws. Her nose was too big. Her breasts were too small. Her lips weren't plump enough. Her lashes weren't long enough. Her butt wasn't round enough.
Dreams surrounded her. Dreams of being the perfect girl. Dreams she could never quite reach.

This is the first time I've written something not Massie-centric.
I hope you like it.
