The blonde ballistics expert made her way through the lab and towards her boss's office. As she approached the door Ryan sprinted towards her and blocked her path.

"Ryan what the hell?" She exclaimed.

"Not a good idea to go in." Ryan panted.

"What the hell are you on about?"

"Speed went in and it resulted in him locking himself in the toilets for an hour."

"So Horatio's in a bad mood?"

"Understatement of the year." Eric muttered as he passed the two with his nose buried in paperwork.

"Well I have to give him my reports so if you'll excuse me." Calleigh said as she pushed passed Ryan and into her boss's office.

"Did Calleigh just go in there?" Jesse asked as he walked up to the side of Ryan.

"Yeah."

"I better phone Tom. There's gonna be a body to clean up."

"You don't know Calleigh Duquesne." Ryan replied. "She is the only person in the world that even has a chance of beating Horatio in a yelling match. There are only two rules in this lab."

"And what are they?"

"Don't piss Horatio Caine off and don't mess with Calleigh Duquesne." Natalia responded as she joined the pair.

"Horatio I have the reports on the Ron Saris case." The blonde said as she entered the room. There was a grunt from the redhead as he was hung over his paperwork. "Thank you Calleigh you're the best." Calleigh muttered as she threw the file down on the desk.

"I'm busy." Horatio said.

"Too busy to thank people I see." Calleigh said. She knew she was pushing her luck but she figured that if she pushed her Lt. over the edge then the rest of the team wouldn't have to face his wrath later on.

"I said I'm busy so leave me and this pile of paperwork alone."

"You can be a real piece of work sometimes do you know that?" Calleigh snapped.

"God I have a pile of paperwork the size of Mt. Everest so will you just leave me alone?" Horatio exploded.

"Do you want me to help you fix that?" Calleigh asked; softening her voice.

"No one can fix this." Horatio said as he dropped his head in his hands.

"I can do paperwork too Horatio." Calleigh said. "I will help you if you stop being an asshole. Everyone's scared to come anywhere near you."

"I'm sorry." Horatio muttered.

"You don't have to say sorry to me." Calleigh said. "Although I think Ryan mentioned something about Speed locking himself in the men's bathroom." Horatio groaned.

"I've really been an idiot haven't I?"

"In the words of Eric Delko; understatement of the year." Calleigh said before leaving the office; taking half of the paperwork with her.
