What
went down on the side of the road?
What I saw at the edge of the
see.
Only those elements time cannot wear,
and they
follow.
What seeped out throught the cracks in time,
what sucks
out the color in me?
What a waits beyond infinity?
The figure closed his golden eyes as he watched the battlefield. One by one, he watched his brother's comrades fall, being slaughtered by their enemy. Enemy…. that word. The figure's lips shifted into a small smile and then they went back to their former place, creating his mask all over again. The wind blew and the final blood drop assaulted his nose. They were dead. Finally.
Beyond and to all time I stand.
The figure stepped out of the shadows, revealing a tall man with ankle length slivery white hair, ocher eyes, and a blue moon on his forehead. Smooth swipes were on each side of his face, not making his skin look paler then it already was. He looked at the bodies, strolling thru the battlefield at a slow pace. His ocher eyes landed on the most wanted sword, the one that he fought with his brother for ages about, stuck in rocks and rubble. He passed it.
What
blew in with the great gale?
What weighed down the falling
leaves?
What came forth from the remains?
What has always lived
and gone unseen?
What has caused the night to fall?
Who speaks
of eternity?
Who awakes to night eternally?
He wandered, letting the moon's rays hit him. It was over. After all of these years. It was over. The man passed his dead brother, his eyes staring into his brother's human violet eyes. A smile appeared on his lips again, He was thanking who had killed him. However… The man whipped around, his light whip slicing the demon in half that had killed them. It was Naraku and he had gotten the jewel that Naraku had to keep his power. Without it, he was powerless. The jewel flew off in a distance and the man continued to walk.
Beyond and to all time I stand.
DE PROFUNDIS CLAMAVI (Baudelaire)
O
my sole love, I pray thee pity me
From out this dark gulf where my
poor heart lies,
A barren world hemmed in by leaden skies
Where
horror flies at night, and blasphemy.
For half the year the
sickly sun is seen,
The other half thick night lies on the land,
A
country bleaker than the polar strand;
No beasts, no brooks, nor
any shred of green.
There never was a horror which
surpassed
this icy sun's cold cruelty, and this vast
Night like
primeval Chaos; would I were
"Sesshomaru-sama!" The now named man stopped and waited for the little girl that followed him to catch up. He felt her presence next to him and he sensed her going to ask a question and let her, "What happened here, Lord Sesshomaru?"
"Nothing, we're going." Sesshomaru walked farther and they disappeared.
Like
the dumb brutes, who in a secret lair
Lie wrap in stupid slumber
for a space...
Time creeps at so burdensome a pace.
