Mistletoe
Summary: Nick had a great idea. Nick/Greg
A/N: Little drabble about Nick having fun with mistletoe.
"Hey, Greggo," Nick hollered as he entered the lab, holding his surprise in his fist. Greg Sanders stood at a microscope, eyes focused down at the specimen and ignoring the Texan as he announced his presence. In the background, Marilyn Manson blared "Slutgarden" to ease the usual stillness of the lab. Nick approached Greg, who continued to inspect the specimen under the scope, humming and tapping his foot to the beat of the song. Nick laughed a little, holding his surprise behind his back.
"Greg!" he called, tapping the lab tech on the shoulder. Greg jumped with a slight yelp, and turned to face the Texan, who in turn smiled.
"Nick!" Greg scolded, holding a hand to his chest dramatically. "Give me a heart attack, why don't ya?"
The Texan grinned, the lab tech looking up at him. "I got something you have to look at, little lab rat."
Greg ignored the 'little lab rat' comment and cocked his head to the side. "And what might that be?"
Nick took the surprise from behind his back and held it straight up. "You have to look at it from above," he instructed. Oblivious to what it was, Greg tilted his head up and looked at the green object in Nick's hand. After a moment, Greg's eyes grew ever-so-slightly and he turned his head back to look at Nick.
"Nick…?" he asked softly. "It that…?"
The Texan smirked, lowering his head till their faces were barely an inch apart, their breath mixing as Greg breathed heavily. "Mistletoe," Nick said, his eyes locked on Greg's pink lips. He lowered his head down, pressing his lips flush against the younger's, who gasped once they connected. Nick put a hand on the back of Greg's head to deepen the kiss and moved his lips against Greg's mouth.
When they broke, Greg was breathing heavily. Then he smiled. "You should go get Grissom with that."
Nick chuckled. "I'd get fired. Besides, I'm only doing this for you."
With that, he kissed the lab tech again, this time with the mistletoe laying on the table.
