The Black Serenade

Sing to me a song of colors

With hues and shades of blood

Sing to me a ballad of death

From lips of cherry white

Sing to me a lullaby of night

This being of celestial dawns light

Such words of poison pierce my heart

As black as these words of silk you weave

Dance with me in crimson fields

Bathed in the glow of pallid moonlight

Serenade these empty souls – lingering within

With a voice of beautiful anguish and mortality

Into my arms of many you fall

Your demise my blessing in disguise

So sweet this smell of death that lingers

On your cold and pale skin of clay

Lifeless eyes that caress mine own

Of bleeding scarlet – red

Intertwine your hate with mine

To hell you and I shall go

Remain this ghost of past

Revenge to sow upon the flesh of all

Betray him with a single glance

Drawn into the arms of a terracotta python

A jewel of thousands, purple light

Upon your finger shall rest all power

Intertwine your lustful hate with mine

To hell they shall go – our laughter their farewell

For now and never we shall be.
