Everyone in the team had different eyes.

Cobb's were often sad, almost permanently after Mal's suicide.

Ariadne's were always bright and full of warmth.

Saito always had that observant look in his eyes.

Yusuf's were curious.

Eames always seemed to smirk.

And Arthur's…..his eyes changed almost constantly.

Most of the time, they seemed cold and calculating. They held no emotion as did his voice. Other times when the team was joking around, they would see a flash of mirth before it was gone, replaced by the blank look.

They had seen the change in his eyes during the Fischer job when Cobb had yelled at him because the fact that The Mark had been trained hadn't shown up in the research. The cold film had broken and the hurt showed, bright and painful, before it disappeared.

Cobb had been very careful with him since, not wanting to hurt his feelings again, and knowing that he was wrong in yelling at The Point Man. It wasn't his fault.

Yet Eames saw Arthur's eyes a different way, whenever they spent time together, the emotionless look vanished and all The Forger saw was the beautiful chocolate brown colour he had come to love so fiercely.
