AN: So I've decided to do a Seth and Bella story. This is separate from my one shot. The Seth in my story is not the kid brother as he's portrayed in the books and movies, but mature and very in tune with his wolf. I feel that if you embrace your "furry" side, the more in tune you are with your wolf. Seth will be like my version of Paul, but not violent and as volatile. As a person he's wolf and human rolled into one, his wolf being close to the surface.
If I am right with my ages, in Breaking Dawn (the movie) Seth was 15 and 14 when he phased in Eclipse( correct me if I'm wrong) so, we will say that Seth is 18 in Eclipse, and he and Bella never met prior to the New Born battle, meaning that for this story the two will meet during the training.
Edward and Bella's relationship has not progressed since his return so Edward is trying to win back Bella's heart.
Jacob too is pinning for Bella's hand but will not be the ever loving persistent wolf we've come to love. He can accept Bella's will to not have anything to do with Edward and that is enough to see her living and breathing.
I think that is everything for now.
Chapter 1: Changes
Jacob POV
I opened the door and I smiled as Bella walked inside. "What? No leech today?" I asked casually as I let her in. It was strange seeing Bella here and on a Thursday no less. Usually she was at Cullen's house. She shook her head and walked in going to the living room. "Why are you so quiet?" I asked as she sank into the couch. She looked up at me and I frowned. "What did he do?" I growled. If he touched one hair on her- "He didn't do anything. It's me. I just can't do it." She put her face in her hands and I moved to sit next to her. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and pulled her close. "Can't do what Bells?" I didn't want to get my hopes up too much. Maybe she had wedding jitters and even though that was no where near where I would be happy but it's a plus. "Being with Edward." She whispered.
I know my eyebrows were almost non existent as I was just that shocked. I didn't know whether to be happy or tell her that things would work out. That's the point of a best friend right? "Why?" I asked, choosing a question that wasn't rubbing salt in the wound or being an ass. She shrugged. "I just don't love him anymore. After he left he took that part of me with him and there is nothing he can do to fix that. I agreed to marry him because it was the only way to be turned, but I dont want that either anymore. I just want to be human. After Rosalie's story, I realized everything I was giving up to be with Edward. Kids, my family, my friends, the pack. What would he give up? What could he give me besides his last name? Nothing." She looked at her hands and she took the engagement ring off of her finger. She wrinkled her nose. I was partly joking when I asked this, but it was worth a shot, "So do I get a chance?" I chuckled. She laughed shaking her head when I wiggled my eyebrows. "No Jake. You know this." I shrugged. "It was worth a try."
After The Cullen's return, I realized that I had a duty to protect my brothers, whether I took the alpha position or not, and that came before anything. Bella also told me I wasting my time for her when my soulmate could have been out here waiting for me. And right now I had a duty to protect my family on the tribe and humans surrounding the area.
"Yeah. I want to talk to Sam. I want to let him know, and I have a plan to help."

Sam POV
"Absolutely not." I stated shaking my head. "But why?" I rolled my eyes. "Because your mother likes to clean and clean. She moves everything and I can't find anything. She threw those pink fuzzy handcuffs away and I knew how much you liked those." I looked pointedly at my imprint reminding her of our lost item. Emily rolled her eyes and glanced behind me quickly before jumping up and squealing. "Bella!" She called out and I stood watching as Jacob and Bella walked up the porch steps.
Besides Jacob, Bella and I became close during the time The Cullen's left, me being the first person she told about the night in the woods. Emily and I looked at her as a sister of sorts and were mildly hurt when she chose them, but we were glad to see her nonetheless. "Hi Em." The two embraced and I smiled. I loved seeing Emily happy. They backed away and Bella came up and hugged me as well. I ruffled her hair and she scowled. "Sam!" She scolded. I laughed and sat back down and stared upon the two. "So, what pleasure do we owe this visit?" I asked curious. Emily scrambled over and covered Bella's mouth. "Wait. Before you answer please tell Sam that it's not a bad idea for my parents to come for Christmas." Bella's eyes widened and she pried Emily's hand away from her mouth and shook her head no. "God no Emily. Sams right, I'm sorry but that woman is a clean freak! Remember when I came back to Forks and I visited Jake and Billy? She had that place so clean it needed to be dirty to look normal. And I like to clean!" She pointed at herself.
"Hold on..Emily's mom is coming?" Paul's loud voice boomed as he walked in. He looked around the room glancing at Bella and then Emily. "Between those two, we don't need a third party. Besides Em, your mom is a nut case. Hey leech lover." With a smack to Bella's ass and a kiss to her cheek, Paul walked into the kitchen and looked in the fridge. Bella and Paul had a hate love relationship and after getting over their mutual dislike they became quite the pair making an unlikely friendship that even I didn't see happening.
"Hey Pauly." Bellla grinned using the one name only he let Bella use. He glared, "Just you wait Swan." Bella laughed. "Okay, can we get back to why we're here?" Jacob sighed raising his brow. "Right. So?" I asked. Bella leaned against the wall, and started into space. "I'm leaving Edward, well we're still broken up but after this battle is done, I don't want anything to do with him. I realized I want to be human." She said and glanced at us. I was shocked to say the least. Edward was Bella's world or so I thought. "What changed?" Bella shrugged. "Everything. When he left, the girl that loved him went with him, and she's never coming back. So no more leech lover..Paul. No more vampire girl or whatever the hell you guys call me. I'm just Bella. Bella who 'knows the supernatural exist' Bella." She chuckled and I nodded.
"As long as you're happy." Bella smiled and for the first time, her eyes were bright. "I also wanted to propose a plan." She moved into the kitchen and leaned against the fridge. That was her safe spot. She could grab food and just like that we were done for. "Whatever it is, no. You're leaning against the fridge so I know it's something I'm not going to like." Bella threw her head back and Jacob chuckled. "Oh you're definitely not going to like it." Bella sent a glare his way and looked back at me. "You haven't even heard what I'm about to say." I shook my head still. "Try me." I raised a brow as Emily sat in my lap. Running my fingers through her hair, I waited for Bella to speak. "I know that Victori will come for me, so what if I lead a path to a certain place? Where she can possibly be ambushed?" Not bad but how would she do it? "How would you lead her?" Paul asked. "Use my blood as bait. Leave trails here and there on trees. Up a certain way."
"Absolutely not." I muttered. I felt like I was repeating myself a lot today. It was my job to keep danger away from humans. "Sam, it'll be fine and to keep up the charade, Edward will already be waiting wherever we plan to do this. We have Jake or anybody up there too as back up."
I mulled it over and wrinkled my nose. "Fine. Have you talked to The Cullen's?" Bella shook her head. "Just Jasper. He'll run it by and he thinks it'll be a good idea. They can focus on one place at a time." I nodded and scrubbed my hand over my face. "It'll be a wolf Victoria hasn't seen." Bella's face contorted in confusion. "You have a new wolf?" Bella asked. I nodded. "Yeah. Seth Clearwater. He phased not too long ago, he's older so that was good and already graduated high school but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. He'll go with you and Edward. He's a skilled fighter and very tactical." I was nodding to myself as I listed off the things about him. "He's almost like Paul, but very quiet. He's the most in tune member with his wolf besides myself. So don't get in his way and no hero acts. You got it?" I asked pointedly at Bella. Knowing her she'd offer herself up on a platter for a bear.
"Yeah yeah. I need to get home and cook dinne for dad. I'll see you guys tonight. Jake, you're still picking me up right?" He nodded and Bella left mostly likely walking back to Billy's and to her truck.
"Well...that was interesting." Paul spoke breaking the silence. "No shit." I muttered.
AN: So, I tried being a little humorous but don't expect it often or much throughout the story. Something a little light to start us off. Please review.
