Title: Boredom
Summary: Boredom is the feeling that everything is a waste of time; serenity, that nothing is.
Pairing: JakotsuBankotsu. Can be platonic or romantic, it does not say so either way.
Note: Pointless. Completely pointless. Do enjoy if you can.

The creaking of metal rubbing against metal filled the air as a lone boy swung out in the rain. He just sat there, letting the rain wash over him, the repetitive motions of the swing doing nothing to cure his boredom.

"Mou..." He sighed. "I need something to do..." Out of the corner of his eye, some movement caught his attention and he turned his head around to see what it was. A boy. His best friend to be precise.

Noticing he was being looked at, the other boy lifted his head up. "Oh, hey Jakotsu." He said, smiling as he went to sit down on the swing next to his friend.

"Hey Bankotsu." Jakotsu smiled back at him. "What are you doing out here?"

The creaking of metal against itself doubled as Bankotsu began to swing as well. "I was just bored, so I thought I would go for a walk. Then I noticed you here, so yeah... Why are you here?"

"Nothing to do I guess." Jakotsu let go of the chains on his swing and leapt into the air, landing with a thud as his feet hit the ground below.

"Yeah, I know." Another thud as the other joined him on the ground.

"Hey Aniki..."

"Hmm?" Bankotsu turned to Jakotsu, a questioning look on his face.

A smirk crossed Jakotsu's face as he stepped closer towards Bankotsu. "I think I know of something we can do..." He said with a seductive purr to his tone.

Bankotsu blushed. "Yeah?"

Grabbing Bankotsu's hand, Jakotsu began running, pulling them both away from the swing set, towards the field in the park. "Yeah, I know just the thing."

Jakotsu began a silly dance. It was more running and spinning around than anything else, but Bankotsu found it amusing and soon joined in.

And there in the rain, the two boys danced. It wasn't anything spectacular, but they sure enjoyed it, and it had cured the boredom of both.
