DISCLIAMER: NOT MINE! Jen's challenge that one of the main characters had a strange food craving here is the result in a silly little fic! Enjoy! :)

"Brian how many times have I told you, if you are going to eat that disgusting mess eat it outside, what is even in your sandwich anyway it stinks" Sandra said wrinkling her nose, Brian Lane wasn't the best when it came to table manners but this was positively offending.

"Sorry Sandra but I can't get enough of Garlic peppered chicken, lettuce and marmite sandwiches' Brian said though a large mouthful of the revolting thing in question.

"Christ Brian, has someone tampered with your brain further" she said pushing her humble salad away, was it any wonder she had lost her appetite.

"Nah you see ever since Esther made a Garlic Chicken casserole I was reminded of the make do sandwiches we used to have as kids and this was always my favourite, I have been craving one ever since" the eccentric admitted.

"Gosh Brian there is nicer ways to use all the left over's up than that" food critic Gerry piped up.

"Well I can't cook, Gerry, sandwiches are where my level expertise end" Brain replied once again though a bite of the sandwich he had been craving since last week.

"Well I don't qualify as the world's best chief either but I can tell what foods go together and these certainly don't" Jack added.

"He's right you know" Sandra backed Jack up.

"Yes well you never cook or even make yourself anything, it's all shop bought salads and sandwiches with you, things taste a lot nicer when there aren't any additives" Gerry said he loved it when an opportunity arose for him to make a dig at the kitchen virgin.

"Like this"

"I don't think your sandwich was what Gerry meant" Jack said wiping the corners of his mouth with his napkin.

"You shouldn't knock it until you have tried it, I bet if you were pregnant Sandra you would love it".

Sandra scoffed at his remark "Well thank god we will never know" she said folding her arms.

"I think you should all try a little bit and then you are eligible to moan about my sandwich."

"No thanks" Gerry said.

"I think I will stick to turkey and cranberry" was Jack's answer.

"Sandra?" Brian tried

"No way!"

"Go on Guv, this is your punishment for years of neglecting that lovely kitchen of yours" Gerry winked.

"You have to be joking" she protested.

"Go on Sandra, I dare you" Jack laughed.

"Fine, fine I try a little bit" she said squirming, she felt sick at just the thought of it.

She took hold of the end Brain had not devoured and took the feeblest bite.

"That's cheating you can't just eat the crust" Gerry said.

"Yeah you have to get to the good stuff" Brian added.

"Come Sandra you can do it" Jack teased.

"Shut up Jack" she though a generous sized bite.

"Ha, you actually did it" Gerry laughed in amazement.

"You know me Gerry willing to try almost anything once, actually that's not too bad" she said holding her hand to her mouth in case any of the strange ingredients escape while she was still chewing.

Brian smirked, Jack looked sick and all Gerry could say was "Peasant!"

The End! :) x
