Amaya appeared in front of me, her pale face streaked with tears. "What'd I do?" I asked staring at her.
Suddenly she ran off, skipping on the gigantic lily pads till she got to open water. That's when she dove in. I watched in interest, waiting for her to come up.
But all that came up were air bubbles.
I raised an eyebrow and then shook my head. She might've been my first friend, but she was getting to be a pain lately.
I glided up stone stairs to the hub. Only one person was in. "Hey, have you noticed whose been acting weird lately?" The man asked rearranging a red plastic lunch box labeled 'emergency kit' in black marker.
"Amaya." I said shortly.
"Yeah. Where is she anyway?"
"Uh, well, she dove into the ocean and that was the last I saw of her." I said hesitantly.
He stared at me long and hard. "Go find her."
"Why? She's not my problem." The man sighed. "Well she's your friend isn't she?" He asked questioningly.
Silence.
He shook his head. "Well, you're still going to go look for her."
"What?!"
Everything blacked out, and suddenly I was on a huge cargo ship on the ocean.
"Hey, it's your turn Maria." A boy about our age said. He looked like a younger version of Roy Mustang.
"Okay." She said, strapping herself to a bungee cord. She suddenly flung herself off the ship headfirst. I gasped and ran to the railing, toppling over into the water.
I screamed, but a hand wrapped itself around mine. Nevertheless, I got my head dunked into the ice cold water.
But I bounced right back, swaying about two feet above the water by a twelve year old boy's hand.
"Help!" I shrieked. Maria grabbed my hand. "Don't let go!"
I saw a faded green pole and an idea popped into my head. I let go of Maria's hand and began swinging myself to gain speed.
Finally, I launched myself at the pole and caught it as Roy let go of me.
I swung around the poles like a monkey and screaming like a baby.
I saw a bar high up that would let me swing back on board. I grit my teeth and shot upwards.
I caught it and flung myself onto the deck, right into Roy's arms. He collapsed and I bagan laughing.
I shot my hands into the air like I was riding a roller coaster and screeched, "Let's do it again!"
We all laughed and then everything began fading, freezing time and making the merry picture last forever.
A/N: This actually was a dream I had last night. Freaky, huh? R&R for your opinion!
