Red symbolized demons, symbolized blood. White symbolized innoncence.

Ghirahim once was the very definition of innocence. All sword spirits were, before they even had a master, one that would define their very existances. Ghirahim was not destined to be on the side of demons, and he had once belonged to Hylia, but now, he was a being of death and shadow, and he was something that was no longer recognised as innocent.

The pure platinum of his sword form changed to onyx, but maybe, one day, he would rejoin the side of light and become a warrior for the hero of the goddess.

When the handle of the Demon Sword touched his, light lit up the surroundings and it shattered into a pure white sword, a twin to the Master Sword. The Heaven Sword.

He had finally become a weapon of the hero. And he felt beautiful and loved, and all his suspicions were true about being loved when Link kissed him and he felt lighter in every way possible.

Sins weren't something that was blotted out easily, but Link had blurred Ghirahim's.

Nothing felt better.
