AN - Hey this story belongs to my friend Ellie who wrote it and let me post it on here for her :D so enjoy her awesome writing style and review.
Finally, the day Sirius Black had been waiting for. The greatest day of his life, and, perhaps, the greatest way to rebel against his parents. "Okay, mum, stop it!" he grumbled as his mother patted down his hair on the train platform. His grey eyes, full of so much excitement, watched the crimson red train as white smoke started to chug out from it.
"All right, son, your things are on the train already, and it is about to leave. So get on now, boy!" Orion Black said, having managed to stay sober for his sons first day at school.
"Okay, bye mum! Bye dad!" Sirius chanted and looked to Regulus, ruffling his hair. "I'll send you something cool, Reggie." he said and grinned before hearing a whistle from the train.
"Hurry up, now, Sirius!" called out his mother and pushed him onto the train.
Sirius gave a final wave to his family and then turned to walk into a carriage. One was left, with a young boy with shaggy black hair and glasses. Sirius opened the door and grinned, "Mind if I join you?" he asked the boy.
"Not at all!" he beamed.
"Sirius Black, it's my first year here." he explained, offering out a hand.
Without taking a second thought, the boy shook Sirius' hand and said "I'm James Potter. It's nice to meet you."
Just as Sirius was about to speak, he heard a familiar deep voice which he knew was his fathers, "Don't forget, son! Slytherin! Make the family proud!"
Sirius watched his father and frowned, looking back to James. "Sorry about that.. My father wants me in Slytherin.. He says it's a family tradition.." Sirius explained.
James shrugged, giving a laugh before offering Sirius a chocolate frog. As he took it, a boy and a girl knocked on the carriage door as the train started to chug towards Hogsmeade. The girl had the Reddest hair anyone had ever seen, and bright emerald green eyes. The boy had black hair with purple rings circling his eyes. James and Sirius allowed them to sit together.
After having a few introductions, the boys and girl began talking about themselves, which ended up in a fight. James and Severus, the other black-haired boy, were fighting over which Hogwarts house was better: Gryffindor or Slytherin, and after much debate, Lily, the red-haired girl, decided that they should leave.
An hour or so had passed, and James decided to stretch his legs. Sirius looked out the window and stated at the landscape. A tap on the door gave Sirius a slight jump, he looked back and expected to see James, his new friend, however, he saw a boy of his age. He looked strange, not like anything he had seen before. He had brownish hair, but what attracted his attention was the undeniable scars on his face.
"Um.. Can I sit with you?" he asked.
Sirius grinned and said "Sure, go right ahead!"
Sirius couldn't help but to stare at his scars, it what defined this boy. The boy frowned, "If you're going to call me names, go ahead.. I've heard them all.." he sighed, looking down frowning.
"Why would I do that? They look awesome!" Sirius said.
"Really?"
"Definitely."
Sirius shared the chocolate frog with his new friend, ("I love chocolate, Sirius!") and started talking away with him. James had finally returned, and with a new boy.
"Hey Sirius! This is Peter! I met him back there." James said and pointed back toasted the hallway of the train. "Whoa.. Who is this?"
"This is Remus Lupin. He's my new friend."
And after introducing each other, the four boys became friends. They became the Marauders.
