Bludger Troubles

Disclaimer: I do not own a thing

Lady of Contradiction – This is a practice run for another fic I am writing. Most likely, this will just be a one-shot.

It was a nice day for a Quiditch match, James decided. It was sunny; there was minimal cloud cover so that it wouldn't be too hot. There was also a slight wind, but, nothing to be concerned over.

James potter and his team were getting ready to go play their first Quiditch match against...none other than Slytherin.

"Okay men," James said.

"And Women," Kitti Sander's piped up.

"And women," James agreed; "This is it,"

"The big one," Sirius black said.

"The one we've all been waiting for," James continued.

"Prongsie, we've been through this," Sirius grinned.

"Right then, lets get to it," James agreed, though he did shoot Sirius a nasty look. He wasn't happy to be interrupted in the middle of his speech.

"Right then, we will win this," James continued.

"And if we don't," Sirius stood up.

"Than my name isn't 'Good for nothing Son'," he finished.

"That's what your Mum says," William, one of the chaser's shook his head.

"I know," Sirius grinned.

"Let's go," James said, and the team made their way out to the Quiditch pitch.

The cheering of wild Gryffindor's clashed with the 'boo's' of the entertainingly stupid Slytherin. James waved to the crowd and bowed form his broom, next to come out was the Slytherin team, Lucius at the helm. This time, the cheering came from the Slytherin's and the boo-ing from the Gryffindor's.

Lucius Malfoy and James Potter glared at each other as Madam Hooch began the whole "I want a nice clean game, you hear?" speal.

"Ready to lose Potter?" Malfoy asked.

"In your dreams Lucy," James replied, which got a growl from Lucius. The quaffle was let go, and so were the snitch and the bludger's.

Sirius hit a Bludger towards Malfoy, it almost got him in the head; James blocked the middle and right goal hoops at the same time, mean while, Malfoy let lose a Bludger on the Gryffindor's chaser.

Kitti ducked it, but only by an inch, she gave no more thought about it as she saw a golden glint.

"Here comes daddy!" Sirius yelled, whacking another Bludger towards the Slytherin chaser. The expertly timed hit whacked the Quaffle out of the Slytherin chaser's arms and one of the Gryffindor chaser's, William, took it up. He got in a goal before Lucius could stop him and the Gryffindor crowd went wild!

"And Gryffindor and Slytherin are tied, 28—28" said the announcer.

"Come on Kitti!" Sirius yelled, coming up beside her.

"Keep that Bludger off of me, otherwise I can't get it!" Kitti said, before speeding off.

"Glad to do so," Sirius grinned, he sped up as well, seeing a Bludger come right for Kitti's head. He swung hard and sent the Bludger back to the person who had sent it. Crabbe barley dodged the Bludger, but Sirius hardly cared about that.

In next to no time, "GRYFFINDOR WINS!" could be heard. The crowd was cheering madly and James was doing loop-d-loops on his broom.

"We won Padfoot," James grinned as he and his friend met on their brooms.

"Finally, last semester was bad!" Sirius grinned.

"And you know what this means…" James left off on his sentence purposefully.

"A party?' Sirius asked.

"Yes, A party the Marauder's way," James smiled.
