Well... unexpected and lengthy hiatus... ;;; School, that's all I can say... -sigh- I was so unhappy I decided not to go back this semester. Instead I'm trying to reexamine my life. Hell, I'm even going to a counselor for my problems... hopefully I'll be all straightened out soon... in the meantime, here's this little hastily-written thing from last night.

MADEMOISELLE DOESN'T OWN HETALIA
"Mathias?" Halldora watched him collapse on the couch, finding the remote and flipping the television on to some sports game. He didn't look up, didn't even acknowledge her calling his name with growing urgency.
Idiot.
"Mathias." This time, she used her best agitated 'what-have-you-done-now?' voice. Still no response. Well Hell… if that didn't get him, nothing was going to. There was obviously something wrong and she intended to find out what. First off, she needed to figure out if the Dane was pissed off at her. Running through her mind, she honestly couldn't think of any reason why he would be. They hadn't fought recently, everything had been fine between them. Or so she thought… Maybe he'd gotten into a fight with Sverige? It was a possibility.
No, couldn't have been, if it had been Sve, he'd have been stomping around the house, shouting and swearing and breaking stuff, in no mood to deal with anyone until much later. Argh, this man was annoying. If she didn't love him… she shook her head. She called his name again, still no response. He looked like a zombie, sitting there, completely still, mouth hanging open just a bit, eyes glazed over. That did it, now she was worried. The Norwegian strode over to him, plopped down on the couch and poked him hard in the shoulder. "Danmark. I am talking to you," she said in her most demanding, bitchy girlfriend voice. He still didn't respond.
Maybe he was dead? Halldora nudged him a little, feeling him list to the side. Well… no resistance… she got up and went to check his breathing, leaning in to feel a pulse.
"Norge?" he moved suddenly, and Halldora shrieked, tumbling backwards over the coffee table. "Whoa… you okay there, Norge?" he leaned over to watch her put a hand to her raging heart. "Wow, I must have dozed off, I turned on the TV and next minute you're in my face! Weird, huh?"
"You sleep with your eyes open?"
"Do I?" he grinned. "Man, you should see your face!" She growled and threw one of the pillows at him.
"Idiot."
