A/ N: I'm planning on making this a chapter story. It's about what happens when Rebecca goes into work with Danny and Jordan on "Take you child to work day". The italics will be lines from the report that she wrote for school on it. I hope that makes sense. Anyways, on with the story!
What My Daddy Does: By Rebecca Tripp.
Instead of going to school today, I went to work with my Daddy.
"Hurry up you two!" Jordan called to Danny and Rebecca, who were currently upstairs in their nicely sized 90210 home.
No answer.
"Hurry u--!" Jordan began to call again.
"Mommy!" Seven-year-old Rebecca complained, as she came marching down the stairs with a hairbrush and two ponytail holders in her chubby child's hands.
"What, Becky?" Jordan asked her daughter, as she scrambled around the kitchen looking for something.
"Daddy can't get a 'ponies' in my hair!" Rebecca informed Jordan.
Jordan set down a pile of papers and her briefcase, before walking over to Rebecca.
"Daddy isn't very good at that kind of thing... Do you want me to help you?"
Rebecca nodded her head 'yes' in reply, and then handed Jordan the hairbrush and two ponytail holders.
Rebecca stood tall and still as she could for Jordan, who brushed half of her hair onto one side, and then picked up the other half of her honey- brown hair. Jordan brushed up the first half, wrapped the ponytail holder around it, and then did the other side.
Just as Jordan was giving Rebecca's hair a final comb- through, Danny walked down the stairs, in his work attire, but still not looking completely awake.
"Thank you, Mommy!" Rebecca thanked her Mom.
"You're very welcome, sweetie," Jordan offered a rare smile, that only Danny and Rebecca ever saw her give.
"Am I interrupting anything?" Danny asked, suddenly appearing.
"I've been told by an anonymous source that you have 'difficulties' doing hair," Jordan told Danny with a straight face, and then winked at Rebecca.
"But I'm no good at doing hair; you know that!" Danny complained.
Jordan rolled her eyes at Danny, who was suddenly acting like he was seven, and not a grown man.
"Besides," Danny's eyebrows went up with excitement. "I was thinking of letting the girls in hair, do Becky's hair."
Rebecca's eyes widened, but Jordan on the other hand, frowned.
"Isn't she suppose to be following you around, not goofing off?"
"Yeah, but it's part of the whole show experience. Experience the process of getting ready for a show," Danny shot- back.
Jordan decided to change the subject completely.
"Is one of those for me?" Jordan asked, eying the mugs of coffee in Danny's hands.
"Depends," Danny joked.
"On what?"
"If you let the girls in hair do Becky's," Danny said, grinning, and looking secretively at Rebecca, who was grinning back at him.
"Please, Mommy! Please! Please! Please! I'll be super- super good for Daddy! Pleeeaase!" Rebecca begged.
Jordan sighed, and then spoke.
"Fine. But it's only because Daddy came bearing coffee!" Jordan smiled, as Danny forged over one of the steaming mugs to Jordan.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything! They all belong to the fabulous Aaron Sorkin, NBC, ect.!
A/ N: This is my first shot as a "Studio 60". I think that the ending seemed a little too "Josh/ Donna", but I think that it worked. I'm still getting comfortable writing these characters, so any feedback on how I've written them would be REALLY, REALLY appreciated. I Any feedback at all, would be. ;-) Anyways, thanks for reading! I hope that you enjoyed it:-D
