Authoress Notes: So...yeah. Um...my nerdiness continues? Enjoy.

Notes: Am I the only one who thinks that Ahsoka and Anakin's relationship is adorable? I also like entertaining the thought that if a boy - doesn't matter who - showed any romantic interest in Ahsoka, Anakin would go all big brother!mode and put an end to it. :D Because quite honestly, he does love her. Not in a romantic sense, which is just creepy unless like one-sided or some weird time-wimey thing, which...I might write later. Hm. But no, seriously. If you want to keep living, you seriously DO NOT threaten Ahsoka when Anakin's around. :D

Claim: I own the planet of Amaryllis, the appearance of the Amarillians, as long as any character not belonging to George Lucas or any other media source. Yup.

Disclaim: If it isn't Amaryllis, Amarillians, or anything else I state that solely belongs to me, I don't own it.

Chapter D'script: Anakin watches and contemplates how much his padawan has grown up.

Training was still an integral part of life, whether it be a padawan or a Jedi Knight. Still, it was not for himself that Anakin found himself walking in the direction of the training grounds, but rather, to find his padawan.

She had come quite a long way since he had been introduced to her, though there had been rough patches throughout the journey. Like her frequent inability to listen to orders, which more often than not, got her into trouble.

Trouble that he himself was not a stranger to. He had gotten into his fair share of trouble as a padawn, and even now, was still reprimanded by Obi-Wan when he stepped out of line. It was embarassing at times, but he still listened to the older man.

The sound of practicing broke through his thoughts, bringing his attention back to the wide stretch of open space. Several droids, remotely activated but otherwise harmless, had been set up. A whirlwind of orange and two shades of green quickly dispatched them.

His padawan was quick, and she had been so ever since he'd met her. It came in handy when in battle, leaving it difficult to focus any sort of attack upon her. Her skill with the Force was growing as well, and it was as Anakin watched his padawan practice that he came to a conclusion.

Ahsoka was growing up. Not just in the sense of height and age - she'd just had her sixteenth birthday a few rotations ago -, but in skill as well. She was a far cry from where she had began, even with the fact that she had been advanced beyond those of her set.

She set herself apart in the fact of how she held her light sabers - even now, her grip did not budge from where she was using her backhanded technique, slicing through the last group of droids with ease.

Curious to see just how far she had gotten, Anakin lifted a gloved hand up, focusing upon one of the imobile clankers. It shifted with the creak of metal, and he watched as Ahsoka whipped around, darting for it. Anakin shifted it to the left, hoping to provide a bit of challenge for his young padawan.

Despite the way he moved it, Ahsoka was quick to demolish it, straightening up as Anakin began clapping and strode forward. Deactivating her light-sabers, the Togrutan female turned, mouth curving into a smile. "Master."

"You've gotten better, Snips," he said, and then added, "but you could still use some work."

"That's what you always say," she responded, falling into step with him. "But one of these days, I'll surpass you, Master."

Anakin slowed, though not enough to provoke concern in the girl who walked beside him. She took the lead, and his gaze focused upon her as she walked. I don't doubt it, Snips. I don't doubt it.
