The girl who cannot speak,

Hides her face under cascades of hair,

As her mind drowns in words,

She can no longer share.

Her eyes convey so many emotions,

As she screams to the deaf ears,

She can never tell of her torture,

It is not like anyone hears.

When they stole her bright voice,

They stole her will to live,

She is now broken from the inside,

There is nothing more that she can give.

She used to sing in the meadows,

Her voice painting pictures for the blind,

But now she is just an Avox Girl,

Trapped in her own mind.
