AN: This is my first Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfiction. My friends inspired me to write this before I started watching the show. They love puzzleshipping, so I gave them a vague oneshot. Hope you like it!

Where am I?

I glanced around, and noticed that I was in a large empty room. There was no furniture, no windows and every wall was painted a dull white. I turned around in a panic. Was I kidnapped? How did I get here? Anxiety filled me as I ran to the closest wall. I slowly pressed against the wall and placed my left ear down. I didn't hear anything from the outside. I gave a tentative knock but cringed as it echoed throughout the room.

"Nobody can hear you… your unconscious." A chilling voice chuckled.

I didn't have to turn around to know who it was; the person that I used to admire and who I used to share all my secretes with but now sneer at the sight of.

"Pharaoh…" I said calmly with irritation evident in my voice.

"Aw, Yugi, you know better." He scolded.

Suddenly, I felt something pushing me back into the wall. I craned my neck to see him flush against my backside with his forearms bracing the wall. I looked into his dark eyes and saw raw emotion.

"Say my name." His voice was husky and made me shiver. I hated that it always made me shiver.

"Pharaoh. That is your name…" I smirked slightly.

His arms slid down the wall and slowly incased my waist. He leaned in and placed his chin on my shoulder. I tried to hold in the shudder as I felt his warmth surround me. I started to struggle within his hold. He didn't put up much of a fight as I pushed myself away.

"Yami, this is why I never come here anymore. You keep messing with me. Can you just tell me why I'm here?" I pleaded desperately.

Yami smirked while slowly clapping his hands, "Good boy, always straight to the point. Never letting me have any fun."

I rolled my eyes.

"Yugi, you've been doing very terrible things with your cards."

"What? I would never use my cards in a bad way!" I yelled in disgust.

Yami began to circle around me, watching me with a predatory gaze until he was in front of me. He wasn't smirking, or smiling coyly like normally does but smiling softly. I couldn't help but stare at his features. He looked so godly; nice tan skin, spiky golden red hair and deep purple eyes.

"Take my hand and you will see."

He held out his hand and I took it. Images flashed through my mind, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Duelist after Duelist… I won, but I would cheat, bend the rules, and destroy the duelist themselves. The last duel… both me and my opponent are in a coma from the shock.

"Dueling became an addiction for you, like heroine."

"When did it start?"

"Right after you stopped coming here."

I snapped my head up in surprise.

"I stopped coming because I was losing all my friends. You made me do things that I hated. You controlled my life. I-I…" Tears welled up in my eyes. Just thinking of the past brought so much pain. "You made my life intolerable."

Something flickered across his eyes as he reached out and caressed my cheek. I leaned in unconsciously, loving the tingling feeling that fluttered throughout my chest.

"So I did." He mumbled. "But you missed me. That's why you tried to find other sources of pleasure."

I nodded. Card games were my only connection to him.

"You won't have to use card games anymore. I'll be with you, forever. I will love you, forever."

He snapped his fingers and a wooden door appeared behind him.

"Just open that door and you'll awake from you're a coma."

He gave me a gentle push towards the door, without looking back I grasped the handle and I opened.
