A/N: I realized that I could describe the emotional aspect of Doctor Who in 12 words- "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..." Think about it. Disclaimer: Rose is blond and the TARDIS is blue- I don't own Doctor Who, but I wish I do.
These are the stories of the Companions amd this is how it ends. Sometimes it ends in heartbreak and sometimes in joy, others in death and others in life, some in the best of times others in the worst of times. But all leaving the Doctor in the same condition with his hearts broken and bleeding.
That chapter of the Doctor's story over. No guest appearances- it was the end. But in a way, they were the best moments of his life (and the worst).
As a very wise, very old, very tired young man once said,
"We all change, when you think about it, we're all different people; all throughout our lives, and that's okay, that's good you've gotta keep moving, so long as your remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this, not one day, I swear. I will always remember when The Doctor was me."
The best of lines, the worst of lines.
Every companion would never forget their time with the Doctor even though some may seem like they do, deep down they never forget.
The same went for their- our- beloved Doctor. He would never forget who he was or who he had been and he would never forget who had been with him. No matter who he seemed to leave behind in the currents of his memory, he would never forget.
It is- was- will be- the best of times and the worst of times.
Sighed,
The ever faithful TARDIS.
