Author's notes: I can't sleep. This is what was going on in my head as I was trying to sleep. It's ridiculous. Have fun reading' it!
The Dialogue
"Sam? What are you doing?"
"Touching your hair, Janet. If it bothers you, I can stop."
"No! It's fine. It's kind of relaxing actually."
"Good. That's what I was goin' for."
"Mmm."
"Turn a little more to the side and I'll get your shoulders."
"Where did you learn to give such an amazing massage?"
"There wasn't much else to do in basic other than give massages and practice making out."
"What?! Making out? You made out with the guys you trained with? Ha."
"No, no. Not the men. It was strictly women."
"…really?"
"Oh, yes. We had a lot of free time on our hands and many of us hadn't had any experience with the opposite sex. So we practiced on each other."
"Well, that makes sense, I guess. How was it?"
"It's so much different than it is with a man. Softer. Much, much better."
"So you prefer kissing women over men?"
"I do."
"Sam? Are you gay?"
"No, Janet. I'm not attracted to women. They're just better kissers. I'm not going to deny it."
"Sorry. I didn't mean to make that assumption. I was just curious and I would have had no problem with it if you were. Just so you know."
"Thanks. I think that makes me feel better."
"Do you have any problems with people being gay?"
"Not at all. You should do what makes you happy. I would never stand in the way of someone's happiness."
"Good. Then I shouldn't worry too much when I tell you that I am."
"Gay?"
"Yeah."
"Wow. I never would have guessed. Should I stop rubbing your shoulders? You might get turned on."
"Oh ha, ha, Sam. There's really no need to act any different around me. I'm the same Janet I've always been."
"I know, but I like to poke fun. Are you seeing anyone?"
"No. It's not very easy dating someone of the same sex when you're in the military."
"Well, is there anyone you're interested in?"
"Not particularly."
"So, what's your type?"
"Well………you. Now don't read too deeply into that. I just mean that I'm attracted to blond hair, blue eyes, and intelligence. I hope I haven't made you uncomfortable, Sam. It's fine if you want to leave. I understand."
"I don't want to leave, Janet! I'm flattered. To be honest, if I were going to be with a woman, she would have to be petite with big brown eyes and the initials 'J.F.'"
"Yeah right, Sam. I doubt I would be your type. You could have anyone you want, so why would you want someone like me?"
"I can't find a logical reason why I wouldn't want you. You're perfect. You not only have one of the best figures in the world, but one of the brightest minds. That's a huge plus in my book."
"Thank you, Sam. You really know how to make a girl smile."
"I like making you smile. You have a beautiful smile."
"Psh."
"You do! Oh, and don't get me started on those full lips! I bet they taste even better than they look."
"Damnit, Sam, you're making me blush."
"I don't want to freak you out or anything….or make you run away, but I would really like to kiss you right now."
"What? You want to kiss me? ……….for practice??? Heh."
"No. For real. I think I've wanted to for a long time, but I was too afraid to admit it to myself. The feeling is overwhelming. I NEED to kiss you."
"Well, what are you waiting for?"
"I'm done waiting."
