It was that night, that night when Firestar was alone at the river, he got the visit. It was a moon after the death of Scourge, and he appeared to him.

"Firestar," he murmured, gliding down on silent paws from above, and landing softly in front of him, his amber eyes calm in the moonlight.

"T-tigerstar?" he whispered. This cat had haunted his dreams, and stalked in his thoughts. Eyes wide, he watched as Tigerstar touched noses with him in his ghostly, transparent form, an icy chill ran down his spine.

"Firestar, I've waited for many sunrises and moonsets to visit you alone." He meowed, "I am here to tell you my thoughts, though, when this night is over, we will be enemies once again."

"I'm ready," meowed Firestar firmly. Tigerstar nodded.

"I do not blame you for my death," he meowed solidly, "I do not care for it anymore. I want you to raise my son with pride, and to watch over my daughter in ShadowClan."

"You, don't blame me?" whispered Firestar, and Tigerstar nodded.

"Come, fallow me," he meowed, padding up the river. Firestar fallowed.

"The stars are going to bring chaos to your life, Firestar, and somewhere along the line, you will be childless," meowed Tigerstar, brushing past bramble bushes without a sound. "The death of the cats in BloodClan has made the ranks outside of StarClan swell, and Scourge is the leader of them. Though they cannot appear in your dreams, they will send their souls to give you the worst of luck."

"The worst of luck?" repeated Firestar, he picked up the pace when he noticed he was falling farther and farther behind.

"Yes, the worst," he murmured, "You will see far more deaths then you have ever known."

"Whose?" He demanded.

"I cannot remember all," murmured Tigerstar truthfully, "But it involves the death of a dark ShadowClan apprentice, later reincarnated, as well as a more then one Medicine Cat."

"More then one!" hissed Firestar.

"We are here." Meowed Tigerstar, halting.

Firestar looked around. It was a clearing by the river, surrounded by lush bushes and thick grass. In the middle was a pool of still water, and Tigerstar sat opposite Firestar of it.

"Firestar, I have made the journey down from the stars to tell you of one thing." Meowed Tigerstar, He bowed his head, "Though this goes against all forest rules, dead and alive, I must say this." He looked up, eyes solid with certainly.

"Firestar, I love you."

Then, with a whirl of silver leaves around him, Tigerstar vanished.
