"How long has he been gone?" asked Rex, sounding exhausted.
"Since 7 this morning," Jessie replied in a monotone voice, looking over at him as she sat with her legs Indian-style and her hands over both sides of her face.
Woody stepped away from the window with his arm out at them, trying to reason with them, saying, "C'mon guys! Just because Andy's gone to school doesn't mean we have to put our lives on hold!"
Buzz stood against Andy's cloud wallpaper-decorated wall and looked at his opened pretend wrist communicator, replying to Woody, "But it's kinda boring here without him, don't you think?"
The alarm clock that stood over the tall grayish tannish lamp stand and under the red-bellied lamp ticked and tocked. A fade showed the hour hand on the other side of the clock, indicating that it was past 3pm. Back at the gang, Buzz tip-toed over the window seal, Jessie now sitting on the edge facing the yellow chair, Rex laid there besider her and Lenny, and the rest of them? They just sat there looking out the window, hoping Andy would return any minute now.
"Who wants to bet he's eating lunch now?" Rex asked everyone, unaware of the time.
"At 3 in the afternoon?" Jessie looked up at him, confused.
"YIKES!" Hamm excitedly shouted. "I think I see a blue van pulling in!"
"Let me see!" Woody demanded, as he as well as the others excitedly crawled over the window seal. "Okay, Andy's getting out with his mom..."
Woody paid close attention to the Davis family as they exited their vehicle. He could hear a conversation between Andy and his mom that he could barely make out. "Wait!" said Woody to himself. "What are they saying?"
"Pizza Planet!" Andy's faded voice sounded excitedly. "Oh! Cool!"
"PIZZA PLANET!" everyone sans Bullseye bellowed in dismay.
"BLAST!" grunted Buzz, clutching his hands. "Going to Pizza Planet."
"I'm sure he's coming back," said Jessie sadly, sitting on the window seal with her hands still on her cheeks. "It's not like he can stay away forever."
"I think we need a hobby," said Hamm glumly.
"You think!" Woody said sarcastically, turning to him. FADE OUT.
