Yay this is my first DP fic Im so excited! I usually write for Young Justice but I had an idea and I just had to write it so I hope you enjoy. This is a little Au
I don't own danny phantom
The young woman looked at her reflection in the mirror, her black bangs framed her face and the rest of her long hair was held up in a high ponytail. Her sky blue eyes sparkled as she smiled at herself. She was wearing a pair of jeans and a form fitting white t-shirt. After making sure she had everything she grabbed her suitcase, keys and headed out towards her car. After tossing her bag in the trunk she headed out, her destination; Amity Park.
Dani had changed a lot the past nine years. At the young age of twenty-three she was already a best selling author, her book Daddy Issues was a big hit. After she was stabilized she set out to make a name for herself, becoming Danielle Jones. When she was about seventeen social services caught up with her and she was put into a foster home for about six months. During her senior year of high school she ended up getting a full ride to Princeton; an offer she couldn't refuse. She soon discovered her talent for writing and found her passion in life. Her book was published a month after she graduated. From time to time she would still fight ghosts, but nothing big.
As she neared the most haunted city in America she started to recognize some familiar landmarks she hadn't seen in almost a decade. There was a reason why she had distanced herself from the ghost filled town. Even though she loved Danny she hated the fact that she was his clone. It wasn't fair to him and especially to her. More than anything she wanted to be her own person. She wanted to have a purpose in life, rather than be an imperfection.
Imperfection, she hated that word. It reminded her of her past. She had finally come to term with what she was and she accepted it. But that didn't make it any less painful.
It took time, but she moved on. She would still be Danny's clone, but she had her own life. She was proud of her accomplishments, graduating at the top of her class in High school and College, publishing her own book and getting a job as a freelance photographer. She was independent. She was strong. She was her own person, and that was all that mattered.
Now that was out of the way, she had a wedding to get to.
Well I hope you liked this little one-shot, Dani is my favorite DP character and I had a plot bunny so then this little story came to be. It's late and I know I missed a few errors but I did my best. PLEASE REVIEW IT WILL MAKE MY DAY.
