Choices.
You sat in 1812 with a glass of vodka and the brochure for the military reform school where Georgina would now be sent. It had been Blair's idea, and you really were thankful but it didn't make you hurt much less. It wasn't that Georgina had betrayed you (after all that was what Georgie did), it wasn't even that Dan had cheated on you (in the UES you learnt to expect that); it was the simple fact that Dan chose Georgina over you. And you're so sick of that happening.
Blair had been the first; she'd ditched movie plans with you to go shopping with Georgina. You had sat outside the cinemas for two hours waiting for your best friend to turn up, and then ran to her house to check she was okay, only to have Eleanor look sadly at you and inform you that Blair was out shopping with a gorgeous young Georgina. The next day, Georgina and Blair spent the whole day gossiping privately as you watched on in confusion.
Chuck was next. You'd made a plan. That on his birthday, you two would have sex, you'd both wait until then. It was an odd plan, but you both so desperately wanted to feel something other than the confusion and find out what the big fuss was all about. You were nervous for an entire week before but so very excited also. You couldn't wait, you trusted Chuck, and you also loved him (in that childish way of a 6th grader). You went to visit him the day before his birthday, wanted to give him his present early so it was the first one he would open. You let yourself in with the spare key and snuck into his room silently, opening the door to find Georgina and he naked in bed together, groaning. But you still went to his party the next day, with your bloodshot eyes and shaking hands, still hoping that you could at least stick to part of the plan. But he'd spent the whole time staring at Georgina's shirt. They'd ran to his bedroom while everyone else was watching a movie, and you'd followed after a while, only to find the two naked again and Chuck grunting her name.
Even Nate chose her before you, instantly grabbing her hand when the teacher told you to partner up for your dance classes. He'd blushed uncontrollably the whole way through the lesson, staring at her body as she swayed, completely oblivious of you.
Now Dan had chosen her, over you. He'd told you he loved you, and then he'd gone and fucked Georgina!
You're so sick of all the people you love choosing her before you. All the plans you have get broken, all the people that love you replace you with her. And you're so sick of it. Because it's the people you love that always seem to love her, but for once, it seems they've chosen you, and she's on her way to reform school. You'd love to say that you'll miss her, but in reality, you're so glad the bitch is gone.
