"Okay Mitch!" Mitch Mitchelson said to himself. "Your here; everyone is having a great time; she's over there, all by herself! Go talk to her."

He looked across the dancehall, full of costumed people, to the girl whom he's been promising himself he'd make a move on for years now. She sat by herself, draining the last of her punch from her cup. Mitch sighed, accepting the fact that he can't muster the courage to go over and actually say something to her.

"So you just going to stand there staring at her the whole night?" Brick's voice broke into Mitch's thoughts. "Or are you actually going to go over there and maybe, I don't know, talk to her?"

"I want to" Mitch said. "Really, I do. But I just can't bring myself to do it!"

"So tell me" Brick said in a patronizing tone. "What's it like, being spineless skeleton?"

Mitch frowned. He was begging to regret coming to this Halloween costume party, in a skeleton costume. "It's fine" he muttered. "Since when does The Viking God of Rock have red hair?"

"Since I decided that I wasn't about to dye my hair!" Brick answered, blowing the hair from in front of his eyes. "But we're getting off topic, go talk to her!"

"And say what?!" Mitch countered.

"Why not ask her to dance?" Brick answered.

"And what if she doesn't want to dance?" Mitch was now frantic.

Brick gave an audible sigh. "Mitch" he began explaining. "This is a dance party. People are dancing. Bubbles and Boomer are dancing. If I hadn't come over here to see how you're doing, me and Blossom would be dancing. Heck, Butch got Buttercup to dance with him!"

"But they are the PowerPuff Girls" Mitch argued. "Meanwhile she... she's not a PowerPuff Girl."

Brick now began to frown. If he looked close enough, Mitch could see Brick's eye twitch from behind his bangs. "Okay come here" Brick gestured Mitch over to the concession table. He set down his prop guitar and poured a glass of punch.

"Hold this!" Brick ordered. Mitch took the cup from him. Once his hands were free, Brick poured another glass of punch and gave it to Mitch.

"Uh, what am I supposed to do with these?" Mitch asked, confused.

"Simple" Brick said. "Don't spill a drop." Before Mitch could say anything, Brick pushed him across the room, to where 'She' was sitting.

Mitch felt his heart skip as his eyes met with hers. He felt it sank as she lowered her eyebrows.

"What do you want?" Princess demanded.

Mitch turned to see Brick walking away."I-I noticed you here by yourself" he said awkwardly as he turned back to her. "So I thought I'd come over" he offered her one of the drinks in his hands."

Wordlessly Princess accepted his offer. Mitch sat down across from her and smiled nervously. He racked his brain for something to say when the DJ's voice came over the loudspeakers.

"Okay, this next one is dedicated to all the queens out there! Fellas, if you have one on your hands you'd better get her to the dance floor!"

Once the music started playing Princess stood up. "W-where are you going?" Mitch asked.

"Didn't you hear?" Princess answered him. "They said to get all the queens onto the dance floor. Now come on, we're going to dance!"

Smiling triumphantly, Mitch followed her lead.
