"Kurt, I found- no!"
Blaine's heart dropped. His eyes instantly pooled with tears. The gun he'd found at the local convenient store minutes before clattered to the ground.
Standing before him, with his arms braced against the bathroom sink, was Kurt. His body trembled. There was a gash in his side, spilling its last few drops of blood before it fully decayed and turned an ugly, crimson color. Slowly, Kurt watched in the mirror as his face deteriorated, turning a sickly shade of green, peeling, rotting away.
Blaine choked back a sob.
"B-Blaine," Kurt's raspy, hoarse voice spoke. It echoed off of the red and white tiled walls. "R-run... go... please."
"How? You- you were safe..."
"Karofsky," Kurt hissed. "Bl-Blaine... go."
There were tears streaming down his face. "I can't leave you, Kurt," he whispered. "I can't."
"T-then shoot-" Kurt cried out, gripping the sink tighter as his body spasmed. "Please..."
He convulsed again and this time fell to the ground with a demonic howl. Instinctively, Blaine ran to his side, scooping up what was left of his boyfriend in his arms. He watched as Kurt's once blue-grey irises turned black. Kurt was gone.
He didn't have time to run. He didn't want to.
"As long as we're together," he whispered, just before Kurt attacked.
