Lily and the Beast
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, lived a young man in a magical castle. Although, he had everything his heart desired—looks, popularity, money and girls—the young man was spoiled, selfish and unkind. In his Fifth Year of magical schooling at the castle, most knew not to cross his path. When angered or annoyed, he would jinx or hex anyone around, especially those who could not defend themselves. But then one winter's night, while he was roaming the corridors, he happened upon the school's poltergeist. The poltergeist had seen the young man and realized that there was no love or compassion in his heart. The poltergeist led him to an unused tower and as punishment for his behavior, turned him into a monstrous beast. Ashamed, the beast concealed himself inside his tower, only allowing his three most-trusted friends in. The poltergeist had left a rose that would bloom until the beast's eighteenth birthday. If he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time. As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast?
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or any characters you may recognize. I also do not own "Beauty and the Beast" and this chapter was shamelessly copied (or as close as I could get it and still serve my purpose) from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," which is one of my favorite Disney movies. Also, just to clarify, James was turned into a beast when he was 15, that gives him almost 3 years to find love.
Please review. If enough people actually want me to continue, I will, otherwise, I'll leave it up to your own imaginations.
