I deleted my other story The Last Meet. I didn't really want to write that story anymore even though it only had two chapters. I wasn't feeling it.

Here's a one-shot I had in mind.

I love the rain. It's the most peaceful thing I have left in my life.

To me; nothing is peaceful anymore. My life changed when I met Perseus Jackson. He made my life hectic and made me fight for my whole life.

I wasn't expecting him to leave. It was nothing he had in mind. Hera captured him and took him prisoner at the Roman Camp. When we went there, he wasn't there.

We searched every cabin and every artifact that they told us. No sign of Percy Jackson. They said he never came here. I was almost breaking down crying at that point. It has been three months since the last time I saw him; the last time we hugged; the last time we kissed.

After two months, Chiron suggested that he was dead. It's been five months by that time. The gods finally got contact with us and had no record of where he was. Poseidon couldn't connect with him. Everyone thought he was dead; besides me. But then, some of his stuff came onto the ocean.

Riptide and pieces of his Camp Half-Blood tee shirt flowed onto the shoreline. I was heartbroken because I now knew he was dead.

A month later, the gods contacted Chiron. They didn't give details but they wanted us to come to the Empire State Building. When we got there... the gods took us to a room... which Percy was laying on a gold couch, barely breathing. Poseidon found him in a cave underwater, where he was losing his life.

I remembered feeling my heart drop out of my chest. The fact that my true love was dying, and I couldn't do anything to help it. The last thing Perseus Jackson told me...

"I love you, Annabeth Chase. I want you to find new love, get married, have kids, and die old" he took my hand and held it to his heart. "Wise Girl... remember me" then he closed his eyes... but not for forever.

Later that evening, Percy was alive but he was a god. He was the god of Rain. I remember seeing those sea green eys before he was transformed into a god.

The last time I saw him was standing on Half-Blood Hill. He was the normal 16 year old, Percy Jackson that defeated the Titan, Kronos. He has his grey streak from carrying the weight of the sky.

Percy kissed me one last time...before dissolving away in the mist.

The most peaceful thing I have left is the rain. The rain of Perseus Jackson, son of the sea god and the god of Rain.

I liked writing this. It was very deep...

I would like if you could review and post your thoughts about this. I got inspired by writing this by listening to Come Clean by Hilary Duff. I thought it had a good story to it so I came up with this.
