The dilapidated building loomed before them, quite a daunting picture in the face of what they knew they were going to find inside. It was by no means the worst site they had entered, Morgan's mind briefly flashing back to the pig farm case of a few years prior, it was the aura – the shiver up your spine, raised hair on the back of your neck feeling. Morgan, much like the rest of the team, believed in fact over fiction but for a lot of this case they had been chasing their tails, wondering what was true, wondering how what was happening could be possible, left questioning if the UnSub was a ghost (in a moment of dramatic ranting from Garcia before a break in the case). If it wasn't for Morgan's adamant belief that ghosts were not real, this place would be the place that changed his mind.
"Morgan, Reid and Rossi go around back. Prentiss, you're with me." Hotch commanded, his face completely stoic and the team spurred into action, thankful for the direction. After a week of this case they were all ready to be done with the case and go home.
Morgan led Reid and Rossi to the back of the building, finding a door and upon giving a well-rehearsed nod they all got into position. Rossi opened the door, all agents then spilling into the building, guns ready. Too late.
