Disclaimer: I don't own Super Junior

This is a side story to Aftermath, which you can read here: .net/s/6448876/1/Aftermath

This occurs between the end of Crackle and the beginning of Ache.

Donghae stormed out of the room, almost bumping into Kyuhyun, who was still carting clothes back and forth.

"Is everything okay…?"

"Uh. Yeah."

"Hm. Okay. Help me with laundry."

"Excuse me?"

"Help me with laundry."

Donghae looked at his magnae incredulously. He always knew Kyuhyun could be playfully disrespectful, but Donghae was already in a very bad mood, and this was taking it too far. Before he could retort, however, he suddenly found himself smiling. Kyuhyun's blunt request had taken him by so much surprise that all he could do was laugh, and although he was not laughing happily, Donghae realized that his spirits had lifted a little.

Following Kyuhyun into the laundry room, he suddenly had a sneaking suspicion that Kyuhyun was all too aware of his current grouchy condition and had done it on purpose. He smacked the back of Kyuhyun's head lightly.

"Ah! What the…?"

"Thanks Kyu."

"For what?"

"Nothing."

"… Okay. Anyway. After this I'm good. Just put everything in the washer and I'll take care of the rest. Okay?"

"Sure. But why did you need help with this?"

"… I have to do everyone's laundry for the rest of the week. I lost a bet to Henry on the plane back."

"Oh…What?" Donghae laughed.

"I'm going to get Ryeowook's clothes." Kyuhyun huffed as he grumpily stomped out of the room. But once more, Donghae sensed a little something different from the aura exuded by Kyuhyun's outward crabbiness. He could sense the humor in his walk. Even Kyuhyun seemed to find his predicament hilarious.

Sighing lightly, Donghae started loading all the clothes into the washing machine. As far as he could tell, the pile consisted of a little of everyone's clothes from the trip to China. He had just bent down to pick up the detergent when another member walked into the room.

He looked up and distastefully realized it was Siwon.

"What are you doing here?" Donghae asked, voice sharply splitting the silence.

"I'm looking for one of my shirts," Siwon said casually. "I just bumped into Kyuhyun and he said it was in the laundry."

Donghae turned away from him and wrenched open the panel into which he was supposed to pour the detergent.

"Can I talk to you?"

"Sorry," Donghae said as he poured excessive amounts of detergent into the machine, "I don't want to talk."

"Sorry Hae, but please hear me out."

"Go away." Donghae snapped the panel shut.

"For Eunhyuk's sake." Donghae spun around.

"Can I shove your head into this washing machine?" Donghae held open the door to the machine he was just manning.

Siwon's eyebrows disappeared into his hairline. Completely taken aback by the preposterous request, he almost laughed, but then realized that Donghae was entirely serious.

"Uh…" Siwon stepped back a bit.

"Come here."

"Uh… Sorry… I'll give you time to cool down…" Siwon quickly walked out of the room. Donghae shook his head irritably and then slammed the washing machine door close. He punched the cycle button and then stormed out of the dorm and into the hallway, slamming the door behind him.

Author's Notes: This is a side story just because I don't feel that it's completely relevant to the main plot... And also because I got the idea after submitting Ache, and while writing Home. LOL And I was bored and just wanted to try doing something a little OOC but not quite.
