"Oh, Com'on, Lex! Please..",
Lex didn't need to look at Clark to know he was pouting heavily. Lex breathed a sigh of relief that his back was to Clark, knowing very well that if he just took one glance at his lover, he would melt and give in. And Luthors don't give in, neither do they melt, for that matter.
Plus, Lex had decided that he was standing his ground on this one. He could never be a part of something sooo stupid and childish…Ok so maybe not at all childish, but still.
Lex started walking towards his desk, made himself comfortable in his chair and finally looked up sternly and said, "Clark, stop giving me that puppy-dog face, it's not going to work this time."
"But, Lexxx….its Looiis"
"Exactly, it's Lois!"
"Look, Lex, we won't get another chance like this. I mean Lois will be back in two days. Not only that, but she herself has given me the key to her apartment! We don't even have to break in," Clark was pleading; he knew it, but desperate measures and all that…
What had come over Clark. When he first heard the request, Lex thought Clark was on Red-K. But when that was not the case, he was utterly struck. This was not the shy farmboy Clark Kent he fell in love with.
Lex shook his head, closed his eyes briefly and took a deep breath, "Look Clark, I know it has been almost three years since we are together. I don't consider that to be a long time. However, if you are bored we can always do something here. I do have some experience in these matters. I can arrange for the best toys the money can buy, you can pick. I mean, if you want I can have a complete 'dungeon' built in no more than…."
"Nooo Lex," Clark cut in. Then he blushed red and spoke slowly, looking at Lex through his lashes. It amused Lex how this incredible person can push for something like this and yet manage to blush so sweetly at the same time.
"I know we can do it here, I mean…But you see I have heard…so much about Lois'…collection." Then Clark added smugly, "But if you are not interested I can always ask Jimmy."
Lex's head snapped up, a dangerous glint in his eyes, "Don't you dare.."
Clark smiled triumphantly, offered Lex his hand and led him towards the door. He said mischievously, "Look at it this way Lex, we can spend hours at her apartment doing anything and everything we want, and she will never know. I mean woudnt that be a nice way to get back at the 'annoying reporter Lois Lane'?"
Lex looked at Clark, his lips twitched into a small smile, this was definitely not loosing.
Next day, well past midnight, Lois entered her apartment feeling victorious over the excellent scoop she had found in Edge City.
However her expression got serious immediately and she started muttering under her breath, "I am going to kill Smallville if he has forgotten to water my plants. I will tie him…Huh? Maybe not." The plants seemed fresh enough.
She showered and got ready to for bed. She was just about to switch the lights off when something caught her eye. It was a long purple silk scarf, hanging out from her 'treasure drawer'. She was absolutely sure she didn't own it… it was purple, for God's sake! She was too tired to pay any attention and thought maybe they belonged to one of her exes. Ewww!
It was only next morning, when she noticed a pair of dark plum silk boxer-shorts, complete with LL monogram, on the floor, that she started to smell a story. What do you know, she smirked, I will get a chance to tie-up Smallville, afterall.
