Shall I remember you, my baby brother?
Falling, falling in utter despair,
Not sure when to stop, but the question is where.
Though the sadness is consuming,
Life is surely blooming.
As a new life disappears,
Another is yet to be born.
With my last aching tears,
I say upon thee,
The life of another,
Shall set your spirit free.
Drifting, drifting through the sky,
Asking why oh why.
Did you have to go?
For that a new life shall be born,
And others await their arrival,
As it beckons on through,
Shall I remember you?
I have nothing to remember,
Except that you were my baby.
My life was a total blackout without,
My little sweetie.
I never knew you,
Yet I imagined your grace.
I never saw you,
Yet I see your face.
Did you have to go?
Did you have to leave?
Though a new life shall be born,
And others awaits their arrival…
I want you to come back,
As I ponder,
Shall I remember you?
