With most people anger dulls over the years. When you are an archangel, the normal rules don't apply, do they?
Gabriel walks down a street of a small town looking for a prey. A CEO with tendency on fucking his employees, a woman who cheats money from elderly and a youngster who has a habit of torturing and killing neighbourhood cats. Decisions, decisions. Which one to choose to be the object for his repressed anger. They are all so deliciously damaged and they deserve all that Gabriel can give. This is his chance to pour out his hatred for his family in a notably healthier way, than going out on a rampage amongst the Host.
He almost makes his move on the woman, but is distracted by a soft pray in his head. A voice calling his name, asking him to come to it. And Gabriel flies to the voice, because the person calling means so much to him.
Sam sits on a queen sized bed in a gloomy motel room and his face lights up when Gabriel appears in front of him. Sam stands up and grabs Gabriel to a tight hug.
"Hello to you too, Kiddo. What's up?" Sam smiles and kisses him.
"Nothing, I just missed you." And that is the best thing Gabriel has heard in a long time.
Gabriel doesn't want to give up on being angry at his brothers and family. He doesn't want to let go of those feelings, because after that, what feelings will he be left with? He's afraid of being empty and emotionless. But when he lies down next to the slowly snoring Gigantor he feels like he might have some emotions after all, when he can someday give up his anger.
