Disclaimers: GW is not mine, never has been, never will be. That said, let's get started!
Note: This story was inspired by a line challenge given to me by one of my good friends. It was supposed to be 100 words or less, but 115 isn't too far off. . . ^^;; The line is pretty obvious; it's at the very end.
The Eternal Question
Relena sat at her desk, staring out at the cloudless winter sky and falling sakura leaves through her office window. Her right cheek lay rested in her palm, her elbow digging into the soft cherry wood.
She moved her eyes toward a lone picture sitting atop the desk. It had a shiny silver frame that had twisted and entwined silver strands. Looking into the frame, Relena saw a distorted image of herself.
She picked up the picture and stared into the cobalt depths of Heero Yuy's eyes. His face was in its usual stoic state. Relena's royal blue eyes flickered with sadness like luminescent blue flames.
She sighed. "Why are the cute ones always gay?"
