"Azami, don't waste your breath on that loser." Imako lightly placed her hand atop her best friend's and widened her eyes dramatically. "I've heard that he lies to pretty girls to get attention."
Azami slowly drew her attention from Abe Takaya to the gossip. "What does he say?"
Imako made sure to pause for effect before answering; she wanted her audience on their toes. She whispered, "He tells them that he's gay. He's never had a girlfriend, but, like, that totally can't be right. Right?"
"Abe-kun is not gay. He's my husband, of course." Azami said this like she was pointing out the weather.
"Girl, you are so lucky. I better be your bridesmaid; you're my bitch!"
"Do you think he'd agree to salmon-colored bridesmaid dresses?"
Meanwhile, Abe was walking through classrooms looking for a particular friend of his. He liked to hide so Abe only saw him when he really missed him. Not that Mihashi could ever tell this to him; somehow, Tajima fed him this precious information. How do those two get along, anyways?
A girl with chopped hair suddenly stepped in front of him. Her cheeks were tinted pink and her eyes were wide with wonder.
"A-a-Abe?"
Like I need another freaking stuttering mess.
"Yes?" He didn't even try to hide his frustration. When would these girls ever learn? Where the hell was Mihashi? He was starting to really miss him…
"W-w-will you go out with me?"
I can't wait to give him a big bear hug…
"Abe?" She looked hopeful; he realized he had been grinning at his own fluffy thoughts.
"I'm gay. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to find my boyfriend. I miss him."
Mihashi, who had been hiding next to the bookcase nearby, flailed madly before fainting in a tingly mess.
