Nathaniel walked in growling, while Kitty followed in his wake giggling like a nine year old with a lollipop. Nathaniel's source of irritation: Kathleen Jones. God she made him boil… in more than one ways, mind you. Right now she had done nothing to him except stare at him making him stammer in his speech about the aid to be given to those in war and poverty.
"Stop giggling Kitty" he growled walking into their spacious kitchen and grabbing an apple from the fruit basket
"I cant help it… you look so cute when your irritated" she said taking a pear and biting into it
"I am NOT cute. I am a magician, and magicians are not cute. They just are not supposed to be cute" he said biting back the urge to blush
"Oh then why pray tell are you cute?" she asked now poking him in the ribs
"I am not… don't look at me that way" he said seeing Kitty looking at him with glazed eyes
"Wha… oh sorry, cute magician" she said and hopped off her stool and taking off her shoes, while Nathaniel gaped at her back
"How many times am I to tell you magicians are not cute"
"A few more" she said taking off her stockings. Nathaniel growled and jumped off his stool and lunged at Kitty, making both of them land on the sofa in awkward positions. Kitty had apparently chosen that moment to face Nathaniel, and now they were inches away from each others faces
"I am not cute" Nathaniel said before closing up the space between their faces, kissing her gently.
Kitty loved moments like these they always led to interesting situations. She snaked her delicate fingers into his tousled hair pulling him closer. He asked for permission for entry, which she gladly gave. These situations were a normal occurrence between the two but it always felt as if it was a first. Nathaniel pulled away and looked down at her with a smirk
"I am not cute, cute guys don't do that" he said a smug grin gracing his lips
"True you aren't… you handsome yet cute" and proceeded to pull Nathaniel closer while he groaned at his failure to change her mind… well he would change that. No doubt about it.
