It was a beautiful morning in the Chipmunks' and the Chipettes' tree dome that was right next to WALL-E's truck. Brittany was looking out the glass window. She could see WALL-E looking very sad. He was sitting on the roof with his hands clasped together. Putting on her air suit and helmet, Brittany went outside to talk to him. She sat on the roof next to him and stroked his shoulder with her gloved paw. "Hey. Are you okay, WALL-E?" she asked tenderly. WALL-E was looking at the sky and didn't respond. "WALL-E! Hello?" Brittany said, trying to get his attention. This time, WALL-E did respond. He glanced over at her, his eyebrows pricked up and he boxed himself up and was shaking in fear. Brittany hated it when WALL-E got scared, especially since it was her fault. "WALL-E?" she said softly. WALL-E just dashed off the roof, making Brittany cringe in discomfort. She followed him down the roof. "WALL-E?" she squeaked shakily. WALL-E just hid in a corner. "WALL-E, it's me," she stammered, trying to fight back tears. WALL-E, with his legs shaking, just rolled backwards and tripped over something. He hugged his legs with one hand and covered his eyes with the other all the while shaking. "No, no, WALL-E, WALL-E, don't be scared," Brittany said, trying to calm him down. "I'm not angry. I just wanted to know what was wrong..." Her voice trailed off when she glanced at the sky. Brittany could see a cloud shaped like EVE. "Ohh..." she voiced. "Eva..." WALL-E whimpered. He quickly dashed away, but Brittany finally got the message. WALL-E wants to give something to EVE, but she's away with the Captain, she thought. Brittany thought for a second and decided that she would get WALL-E's present to EVE herself. Brittany took a basket, hopped on her bike and pedaled away. Soon, she came to a blueberry bush near a river. Using the quality checker on her air suit, she picked six blueberries. On the other side of the river, she saw another blueberry bush. But, there was a raging river near a path and the only way across was a loose log on some rocks. "For you, EVE," said Brittany to herself with determination. She carefully stepped over the log, but it was too wobbly even for a chipmunk. Brittany suddenly lost her footing and slipped and fell down a waterfall! "Ahhhhrge!" she screamed, but suddenly, something picked her up. It was EVE. "EVE? Is that you?" asked Brittany. EVE put Brittany down on the other side of the river. She beeped angrily at her. "I'm sorry," said Brittany. "I just wanted to bring some blueberries for you." She presented the basket. "Here. These are from WALL-E." EVE softened her expression as she took the basket. At first, her eyes widened, then she tilted her head and finally, she smiled! "Brittany..." she murmured. Then, she cried out "WALL-E!" in joy as she spun Brittany around. Brittany chuckled. "You're welcome," she said. "But, I'm not WALL-E." EVE put Brittany down and giggled. "Well, I'd better be going now," said Brittany. "Good luck on your mission and enjoy the blueberries." EVE waved to Brittany as she hopped back across the rocks (which were not loose) and pedaled away on her bike back to WALL-E's truck. By now, WALL-E was smiling and feeling much better. "WALL-E?" whispered Brittany. "I'm so sorry for yelling at you. Can you forgive me?" WALL-E nodded. Then, the two of them shared a hug.
The End.
