Reanne was a little disappointed at the fact she and Justin are part of the band for Homecoming. Really she didn't care much about the game but the dance, Reanne had a dress all picked out with makeup and shoes. And just one dance with Justin will be the bast night. "Okay people! I'll see you all tonight." Said the teacher. Reanne packed her violin and headed for the door. "Reanne do you have a date yet for homecoming?" One of her classmates came up to her. This came as a shock to her since no one asks her on a date. "I mean if your free, but if not..." "She is spoken for." Justin came from behind her. Two friends from childhood. Some thought they would get together and marry and some thought friends helping friends. For Reanne this was between both of those. The boy ran away seeing Justin and he walked away. "See you tonight!" She called to her friend. Justin just waved a hand in the air and kept going.
Later, everyone lined up to start playing and Reanne was nervous. It was cold but playing in front of others was not something she was used to. Her friends were one thing, but strangers was another. The band started and the game was on. Justin could see something was off with Reanne's playing so he slid closer and stopped playing his trumpet. Reanne didn't see him out of the corner until he kissed her on the cheek and whispered "Just relax. I'm right here." Justin went back to playing trying to hide his red face. Reanne took a deep breath and played once again but this time her music was so beautiful that during half-time the team asked her to play a solo for them. Once it was over the fun part came. Homecoming.
Everyone wore such beautiful gowns and Reanne had on a simple dress from her closet. Well, an old recital dress that was yellow and orange and made her look like Cinderella was nothing for her. Justin made his way to her holding out his hand. "I accept," Reanne said and took his hand. They slowly danced across the floor for as though they were flying. "Thank you for helping me." She said. Justin had a red face and stopped dancing for a minute. "What are friends for," he said. She smiled at him. "Reanne. Please listen to me." Reanne listened to Justin but the music was getting louder and the song changed. "Let's go outside," he said and dragged her along. Once they were outside Justin turned to face Reanne and his face was red like a cherry. "Please go out with me?!' He shouted. The shock was so big Reanne couldn't stand. She sat down taking in the question. "Sure. I'll go out with you." I already felt like we were a couple anyway we do so many things together. She answered smiling. But I have to tell you something first." She said. She stood up and turned into her witch form. "I'm a witch. But please don't call me that! I don't want to-" Justin took his chance to kiss her and the sweetness didn't fade away. "I don't care." he smiled back.
