Author's Note: I wanted to try my hand at writing something that was more simplistic and could be read by that of a child, so hence, the straight-forward imagination triggering story below. Enjoy. :)

"The queen is missing!" Shrieked Rabe´, one of the Queen's handmaidens.

Captain Panaka had been standing guard by one of the throne room's doors when Rabe´ had burst in to deliver the news.

"What?!" Panaka demanded, concern evident on his face.

"She's missing, I can't find her anywhere!" Rabe´ said anxiously, looking all about the room.

But there was not a single sign that would allude to the queen's being there.

Panaka stepped away from his post, alarmed.

"Are you certain?" he asked Rabe´, taking quick glances down the adjacent halls.

"Where all have you checked?"

"I've checked everywhere!" she pouted. "I've checked the halls, her chambers, the gardens, I've searched the whole Palace! But she is nowhere to be found!" she sobbed.

"No need to worry, I'll help you search. She'll turn up. She always does." he tried assuring her, although even he was uncertain.

Together they searched the Palace gardens, the royal kitchen, and the elaborate dining area. But alas, they did not find her.

So they commenced searching the halls and Padme's chambers.

Still not a trace.

Rabe´ and all the other handmaidens were beginning to become quite weary when all of the sudden Panaka had a brilliant hunch for the queen's whereabouts.

"The town square!" he exclaimed, heading past the Palace gates and hurrying through the Theed marketplace.

It took a few more minutes of searching via scouring the thick crowd of people that circulated in the heart of the city to find her, but soon enough Panaka's hunch was proven correct, and there they spotted the young queen basking in the warm Naboo sun, sipping on a cup of juice as she relaxed in an extravagantly designed sun chair.

"Your Highness!" Panaka called to her as he and her handmaidens came to a halt, their lack of breath prominent as they inhaled and exhaled rapidly.

Panaka took a moment to catch his breath as he leaned over and rested his arms on his legs. Rabe´ and the other handmaidens huffed and puffed as well, using their hands to fan themselves in defense of the sun's great heat.

When Panaka had finally composed himself, he turned to face Padme´ and put both hands on his hips.

"You ought not to have departed the Palace without our knowledge," he scolded, half playfully and half seriously, as an irksome smile began to spread across his face. "We were about to tear the entire city apart looking for you."

Padme looked up from her cup of juice, a grin on her face.

This wouldn't be the first time...
