'Draco, he's asking for you.' It was Weasley. Draco looked up at him. His eyes, red-rimmed, were widened,

'What? But...I thought...he forgot.' That's impossible. Harry was still living in the war. 'He can't remember...us, can he?'

Weasley shrugged. His face looked grim.

'I don't know mate. I think you should see him.' Draco nodded and followed Ron towards Harry's room. They stopped outside the door. Ron looked at him, 'Just don't expect him to...you know.'

'Yeah.' Draco opened the door. Ginny and Hermione were already in there. And Harry. Harry was staring right at him.

'We'll let you talk.' Hermione said. Ginny gave Draco a look of encouragement. The girls left.

'How are you?'

'Good, I guess. Fucking confused though, still can't believe I've lost two years of my life.' Harry smiled a little. Draco swallowed,

'How can you talk to me like this? You don't even remember…'

Harry stared,

'They said you were waiting for me.'

'Doesn't it feel weird?'

'Not really.' Harry shrugged.'A lot can happen in two years.'

They sat in silence, simply staring at each other.

'Can't I ask you something?' Harry asked.

'Go ahead.'

'Are we...mates?'

'A little.'

'A little?' Harry asked, an amused smile playing at is lips, 'We aren't pretending to hate each other, are we?'

Draco shook his head,

'It's not like that.' He sighed a little. Should he tell Harry about...them? 'Why did you ask for me?'

Harry looked a little surprised, and mildly embarrassed,

'Well, you see, when I woke up, your name was the first thing that came up. Not Ron or Ginny or Hermione. Just...you. Is that weird?' Harry was staring at his sheets now. But Draco smiled for the first time today,

'No. That isn't weird at all.' Harry looked up, noticed Draco's smile, and blinked,

'So of course, when they said you were waiting outside, I figured, something's changed.'

Draco took a seat on the Harry's bed. Harry smiled weakly,

'And then, when you came in...I mean, I guess I realised that something's definitely changed.'

'Why?'

'Because, everything felt different. It felt wrong when you weren't in here, even before I found out you were waiting outside. And when you came in, I was really relieved.'

Draco didn't say anything.

'And then, I keep remembering fragments. Like broken glass.' Harry's eyes were closed as he said this, 'It's hard to put it all together.'

Draco swallowed, his throat hurt,

'Sometimes It's easier to replace the glass, instead of worrying about fixing it.' His voice was hoarse.

Then Harry opened his eyes and stared intently at Draco, 'We aren't just friends, are we?'

It was more of a statement than a question.

Draco shook his head,

'No we aren't.' He took Harry's hand in his own, 'But, I don't want you to love me because you think you have to.'

Harry grinned widely,

"Honestly, I don't think we have to worry about that.'

Draco's heart fluttered. He kissed Harry's forehead.

'Hey, can I ask you something?' Harry asked.

'What?'

'Is that my Weasley Jumper you're wearing?' Draco looked down, and sure enough, he was still wearing the red knitted jumper, emblazoned with a big H, that he always wore at home. He was in such a hurry to get to St Mungo's that he didn't think to take it off.

'Yeah.' Draco smiled sheepishly. Harry's grin only grew wider. He tugged Draco's sleeve, pulling the boy into a kiss.

They broke apart, faces still so close.

'I do want to replace the glass.' Harry said softly, 'I might not have all my memories, but I can still makes some new ones with you.

Draco smiled wickedly,

'We could start now if you like.'

Harry didn't answer.

He was simply too busy making memories.
