The life of the Demon of the Rock, Namikaze Minato was hectic one. At three years old he was sent onto his first live battlefield and at four the Rock Village was formed shortly after the Leaf. Around then, the First Hokage gave each major village one tailed beast who needed a jinchuuriki. On the morning of August 7th, the Gobi was sealed by Uzumaki Mito into Minato. Minato and the Shodai Tsuchikage stayed in the Leaf for the following week to make sure the seal was working properly. During this week, Minato formed close bonds with the Shodai Hokage and an attempted friendship with said Hokage's little brother which was rejected vehemently.

In the following years, Minato rose through the ranks at a terrifyingly rapid pace, obtaining jounin rank at eleven. Several techniques made him a menace on the battlefield, mostly how in sync he was with the Gobi. Old Rock legends state he was even able to summon the Gobi to fight by his side. Not much else is known about Minato's early years of being a shinobi.

The First Shinobi War came and went in three years, leaving a war torn fifteen year old with the new title of the Demon of the Rock. The Shodai of the Leaf and Rock were both lost during the war, leaving two allied countries heavily mourning. Minato visited the Leaf more often, becoming best friends with the new Second Hokage (though Tobirama would deny it til his last day). Soon after the end of the war, he was given the rank of ANBU and his reputation grew larger every mission.

The Second Shinobi war hit only two years later, forcing most lives to a screeching halt. It was bloodier than the previous war with body counts in the hundred thousands at the end of the first year. The Rock, Leaf, and Sand united while Lightning, Mist, and several smaller villages banded together. Minato was promoted to ANBU Captain during the beginning of the second year. He continuously visited the Leaf, keeping the Nidaime as happy as he could.

But it was midway through the second year when it became too much. It was during the famed Massacre of the Mist during which the Mist attempted to ambush Rock. Minato along with most of the Rock shinobi fought hard against the invading Mist. Minato was eventually overwhelmed and a kunai to the jugular took him out, even with his speed healing, too much blood had been lost. The Gobi had been released upon his death, enraged by the death of its jinchuuriki and partner. Rock, with the help of the Leaf and Sand recovered from the both attacks and was ready to fight again with a new jinchuuriki in its ranks.

And thus was the end of Namikaze Minato, the Demon of the Rock...for now.
